Staying at Conrad Urumqi was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to popular spots like Bazaar and Tian'er Street, and even the Regional Museum is within easy reach. The hotel is directly connected to a large shopping complex, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all right on-site. I especially want to highlight Grace—the level of service she provided was exceptional. She was patient, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From reminding us about mini-bar charges to guiding us through Wi-Fi setup, she covered every detail with care. The room itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Everything about this stay felt polished and personalized. I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Urumqi.

I stayed at this Intercity Hotel in Urumqi for a short business trip, and while it's technically a solid option for work travel, it’s not really suitable for leisure or those seeking a more relaxing experience. The hotel opened in 2024, and the design follows a clean, minimalist German-style aesthetic—simple but functional. There are no major flaws in build quality or layout, which is nice. However, small issues popped up quickly: out of three rooms booked, one had a TV constantly displaying Java errors, and another room’s scale had no power. It’s surprising that after just one year, these details aren’t fully sorted. Breakfast was decent for a Huazhu four-star property—better than average—but still feels underwhelming compared to other brands in the same tier. What stood out? No free coffee machine in the lobby, no tea service at all—something I’ve never seen in a mid-range chain before. The building is converted from an older structure, with 18 floors and nearly 30 rooms per floor, but only two elevators and a tiny common area. The space lacks privacy—no partitions, oversized tables, and zero ambiance whether you're working or trying to unwind. Service was basic and responsive when needed, but the parking perks were confusing: free parking requires scanning a QR code filled with ads, and the hotel never proactively informed guests about it. After switching rooms, we were given a main card and an electric key initially, but the second room didn’t come with a new electric key—very inconvenient. Overall, this place works if you’re just passing through for business, but don’t expect comfort or thoughtful touches. Not worth recommending for families or longer stays.

At check-in, the front desk attendant not only upgraded our room but also arranged a late checkout without hesitation. The minibar offering was fantastic—free unlimited access to delicious apricot tea, plus complimentary coffee and red tea refills in the lobby. The included nut pack was top-notch, especially the purple cashews—perfectly seasoned and fresh. What really stood out was the free foot bath available in the evening, and the housekeeping team went above and beyond by providing different pillow options for adults and kids, ensuring everyone slept well. The heating system kept the room cozy and warm, and despite the dry air, a full-sized humidifier and air purifier were provided—plus a subtle lavender scent diffuser that added a calming touch. Every little detail made this stay feel special. This is now our go-to hotel whenever we visit Urumqi, and I’d highly recommend it to any traveler looking for comfort, thoughtfulness, and genuine hospitality.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—when I accidentally booked the wrong room, they immediately assisted with a change without any hassle. They also kindly helped me print documents, which was a big convenience. The hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained, and cleanliness is top-notch throughout. I especially appreciated the kind and professional housekeeping staff on the fourth floor—they were always smiling and kept the area spotless. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommend this place for both business and leisure travelers. A truly comfortable and stress-free experience.

Stayed on the 8th floor this time, which was different from my previous visits—seems like it's been recently renovated, with a faint odor lingering in the air. Overall, the room is quite good. The TV supports screen mirroring, and all the hardware feels modern and well-maintained. The only minor issues were a slight musty smell in the bathroom, a small leak around the wet/dry separation area, and slow drainage in the shower. These are small things that could be improved with a quick check-up. Despite these little drawbacks, the hotel continues to make noticeable progress. Clean, comfortable, and great value for money—definitely a solid choice for travelers visiting Urumqi.

Staying at Parlan Hotel in Urumqi was an absolute delight! The service was outstanding—front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely warm, with a great vibe from both the young women and men. I arrived just after 6 AM, and they even allowed early check-in without any hassle, which made my travel day so much easier. Cleanliness was impressive too—housekeeping came by daily to tidy up, take out trash, and even neatly folded my clothes on the bed. It felt like being treated like family. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Bazaar Square, and nearby Hutian First and Second Streets are perfect for dining and shopping. Everything I needed was within walking distance. With such a great price-to-quality ratio, this hotel offers excellent value. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Urumqi—it’s cozy, convenient, and full of charm. Will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely incredible value for money! For the price, you get a clean room with a shower right in the scenic area—plus, just lying in bed, you can gaze out at the peaceful pine forest. After dinner, we took a short hike up the nearby hill, and the views were even more magical after a light rain. The air was crisp, the scenery stunning, and we even spotted wild mushrooms growing along the trail—asked the hostess if they were safe to eat (she confirmed they were!), which made it feel like a real adventure. Everything about this stay felt authentic and refreshing. If you're looking for a quiet escape into nature without breaking the bank, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend heading to the Water Room Bar across the street for a relaxing drink in the evening. In the afternoon, grab a coffee at the cozy café right in the same courtyard—it’s such a peaceful little retreat. The whole vibe is authentic and welcoming. This place offers amazing value and experience. Definitely coming back!

The room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with modern amenities—everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality; every interaction felt warm and genuine. Located right on the main city thoroughfare, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around. Just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find bus stops and a metro station, making travel within the city a breeze. It’s also close to parks, hospitals, a science museum, and a lively food street—perfect for exploring without needing to go far. The airport is just a 20-minute drive away, which is super helpful if you're traveling. The buffet breakfast and dinner were outstanding—huge variety, excellent quality, and fresh ingredients across multiple cuisines. And let’s not forget the indoor pool! If you’re in the mood to relax or work out without leaving the hotel, this is the ideal spot. Overall, an exceptional experience that exceeded expectations. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and plan to return soon.

My room was bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I even used their computer for some quick work—very convenient. Overall, the service, comfort, and value for money are outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Urumqi and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Although check-in was busy and the lobby was full of guests, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—they asked us to take a seat while they attended to others. When it was our turn, the agent was calm, patient, and explained every detail clearly with genuine care. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with everything I needed. Around midday, just before check-out, a staff member passed by and kindly asked if I needed a tote bag to carry my belongings—such a thoughtful touch! Even though the rate was slightly higher than other options I’d seen, the service quality made it totally worth it. They even gave me some great local food recommendations, and my friends and I went out for dinner that night—delicious and authentic. I especially want to highlight the amazing service from Kelmis at the front desk—her professionalism and kindness made the whole experience special. If you’re visiting Ürümqi, don’t miss this gem!
