The hotel is located right next to the Wuhan University of Technology Nanhua Campus examination site—just a short walk straight ahead to the South Gate. However, I actually prefer entering through the Wenhui East Gate, which is faster and more convenient. Once inside, a quick right turn leads you directly to Yueyuan Canteen—perfect for grabbing a meal without having to go far. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent value for money. Whether you're a student, visiting campus, or just working nearby, this location is ideal. It's also within easy reach of public transit, making it simple to get into downtown Wuhan. A solid, no-frills option that delivers exactly what you'd expect from a reliable chain.

While the room is on the smaller side, it's clean, well-maintained, and perfectly comfortable for a short stay. For the location, price point (around $160–$170 USD), and everything else included, this is an excellent value. When we ordered takeout and realized we didn’t have chopsticks, I called the front desk and within minutes, they sent up both chopsticks and spoons—such a thoughtful touch! Upon arrival, the air conditioning was already on, so we stepped into a cool, welcoming room right away. Even the tea bags were a nice surprise—they were from Cha Yan Yue Se, adding a unique local flair. It’s clear this hotel pays attention to details and truly values guest comfort. However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it. So definitely specify ‘riverside view’ when booking. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value with its location, service, and comfort—highly recommend for travelers visiting Wuhan.
