At night, there are frequent buses running, and even if you’re staying at another nearby hotel, you can easily hop on any available shuttle that will take you directly back to your place. It’s incredibly convenient and stress-free. I’ve never experienced such smooth logistics during my pilgrimage visits. I was especially happy to find free street parking right in front and behind the hotel—no stress at all when arriving or leaving with a car. Everything is convenient, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. This is definitely a top pick for anyone visiting Mecca. I’ll be coming back again!

Stayed here for four nights and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—right next to a free shuttle bus stop that takes you straight to Masjid al-Haram. It only takes about 5 minutes to reach Terminal 4 near Marwa from the front-stop, making access to the holy site super easy. I booked both a double room and a triple room, but the hotel upgraded me to a four-bed room with small-sized beds. While the beds aren’t large, the room itself is spacious and very comfortable. Bonus: the electrical outlets support small appliances like electric rice cookers—perfect for travelers who like to cook their own meals. Breakfast was Middle Eastern-style—no rice, just pastries and other local treats—but the flavors were surprisingly spot-on for my Indonesian palate. There are also plenty of shops around Elaf Bakkah Hotel, offering everything from snacks to souvenirs, so you won’t need to go far for essentials. Overall, this 3-star hotel delivers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Makkah.

Located just a short walk from Masjid al-Haram, this hotel offers incredible convenience—especially for those praying during peak times. I stayed on the 3rd floor, so I could quickly descend via stairs without waiting for elevators, which made getting to the mosque on time much easier. I’d recommend allowing at least an hour or even 90 minutes before prayer starts, especially during busy periods like Hajj. The room service was incredibly friendly and attentive—they checked in daily about cleaning, and when I only needed tissues, water, and towels, they delivered promptly. My family and I stayed for seven nights and felt completely comfortable throughout. Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor was reliable enough for streaming and browsing. Overall, the experience was exceptional—great location, excellent service, and strong value for money. Definitely worth returning.

Sama Al Deafah Hotel
I was really disappointed with my stay at Sama Al Deafah Hotel, especially when compared to other hotels in the same area and price range. The front desk staff lacked proper training and knowledge—when I tried to get assistance multiple times, they kept saying they'd ask someone else, and often no one was even at their station. I called the front desk several times during non-peak hours (evenings), but received no response. I also tried calling the hotel directly from my mobile phone—no answer. The electric kettle in the room didn’t work, and it took over two hours for a technician to arrive. Since I booked a double room, I requested an extra key card, but was refused without any clear reason. The bathroom plumbing system was particularly poor—the sound of water draining was extremely loud and clearly audible throughout the room, even with the door closed, which suggests missing anti-noise components under the sinks. When I asked for a room upgrade, the manager showed little interest and claimed there were no available rooms—despite seeing availability online. Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable most of the day, which is unacceptable for a modern hotel. Overall, while the location is decent, the service quality falls far short of expectations. Not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
