We stayed at this hotel during our first night in Nanjing, and overall the experience was really positive. One minor issue was the hallway carpet, which had a slightly unpleasant odor due to the rain—nothing too serious, but noticeable. Our initial room was a corner room near the elevator, which we usually avoid because of potential noise and awkward layout. We mentioned our concern to the front desk, and the staff member handled it with great care and efficiency—she immediately helped us switch to another room without any hassle. Even though we originally planned to extend our stay, we ended up moving on the next day after noticing a price increase, which didn’t fit our budget. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a short walk to the Presidential Palace, and everything else in the city center is easily accessible. Public transport is nearby too, making it super convenient. The view from the window was peaceful and refreshing, offering a quiet escape even in the heart of the city. Cleanliness and comfort are top-notch, and the overall value is excellent. If you're visiting Nanjing, this is a great option—highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.
Atour Hotel Nanjing Presidential Palace
We stayed in Nanjing for five nights, and after two less-than-satisfying days elsewhere, we switched to this hotel for the last three—and it was a perfect upgrade. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotlessly clean, and all amenities were modern and well-maintained. One small but thoughtful touch: there’s a display on the TV showing how many washing machines are available at any time, so you don’t waste time walking down only to find them all in use. That little detail made laundry day stress-free. The location is fantastic—right next to Liu Chang Xing for great local food, and just a short walk from key attractions like the Presidential Palace, Six Dynasties Museum, Piliu Temple, and the Comfort Station Exhibition Hall. We didn’t get a chance to visit the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre this time, but I’m already planning a return trip—definitely coming back here. Oh, and while booking through the platform, it mentioned complimentary late-night porridge. We didn’t ask for it, so we missed out—but if you’re staying here, don’t forget to request it! It’s a nice surprise worth taking advantage of.
