It’s such a peaceful, romantic vibe—highly recommended for anyone visiting Cebu.

The location couldn’t be more convenient—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot or by public transit. Our room was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. When we asked for an extra bed, the staff promptly provided a third mattress along with all necessary accessories—no hassle at all. The bedding was soft yet supportive, and we had everything we needed for personal hygiene, including quality toiletries for hair, body, and teeth. No cockroaches—big plus! There was a minor issue in the bathroom: the floor gets wet during showers, but it dried completely within two hours, so it wasn’t a real inconvenience. The mini-fridge worked perfectly, keeping drinks cool throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding—a great mix of European and Filipino dishes, all fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We loved the included fruits and variety of non-alcoholic beverages. On the 19th floor, there’s a small but beautiful pool with breathtaking views of the city skyline, plus a fully equipped gym. Staff even handed us beach towels—such a thoughtful touch. One small suggestion: larger water bottles would’ve been helpful given how hot Cebu can get, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. This was easily one of the best stays we’ve had in the Philippines, and we’re already planning to return. Highly recommended! 🌹

Royal J Hotel
I stayed at Royal J Hotel for one night in November 2022, just to check if it’s worth returning. The hotel opened in October 2022 and everything feels brand new—clean, modern, and well-maintained. I booked a twin room and was pleasantly surprised when the front desk called to ask if I’d prefer to upgrade to a double room. That kind of personal touch made me feel valued. The two elevators are stylish and spacious, though no staff assisted with luggage, which would’ve been helpful. Inside the room, all amenities were fresh and functional: kettle, coffee, cups—perfect for a quick morning brew. The shower cubicle is excellent, with strong water pressure and good drainage. One small note: the privacy blind between the bedroom and bathroom is operated only from the bedroom side, not inside the bathroom—this could be improved for guest convenience. Also, the in-room safe wasn’t bolted to the furniture, so security-wise, it might need a tweak. Despite these minor points, the overall experience was impressive. The staff were friendly, the location is convenient, and the value for money is solid. Definitely considering coming back.

We stayed at the San Remo Oasis 2 Bedroom Condominium with a group of five, but upon check-in we were only given three towels and no blanket was provided right away. While the unit is clean and conveniently located near downtown Cebu—making it easy to get around by public transit—the lack of basic amenities for larger groups was noticeable. For families or groups traveling together, having enough towels and bedding essentials is essential for comfort. It’s a decent value for the price, especially with the location advantage, but the hotel could definitely improve in terms of guest service and preparedness for multi-person stays. A few small upgrades would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.
