To top it all off, they even wrote a heartfelt 'Happy Birthday' message on the window—such a touching and unexpected gesture that made the whole experience unforgettable. Staying at Nikko Style Nagoya was a fantastic experience overall. The location is convenient—just a straight walk from Meitetsu Station, making it easy to get around by train or on foot. There are plenty of local eateries nearby, including ramen shops and yakitori spots, so dinner options are never an issue. What really stood out was the spacious room with modern, well-maintained amenities. Cleanliness is top-notch; every time I hung the 'Please clean' card, the staff returned the room spotless with fresh towels, replenished toiletries, and water bottles. They even included essentials like makeup remover, facial cleanser, moisturizer, and face cream—truly thoughtful. A little extra touch would be adding a moisturizing cream for winter dryness, but otherwise, it’s already ahead of the game. If needed, they offer hair curlers at the front desk—very handy! One small note: the showerhead nozzles had some black residue buildup, which could use more regular cleaning. But honestly, this tiny detail doesn’t take away from the excellent quality of the stay. Great value, great comfort, and a hotel I’d definitely return to.

I came back to the hotel after check-out and was warmly welcomed by the staff, who immediately reminded me that my luggage had already been brought up to the room. Even more thoughtful, they found and returned a bracelet I’d accidentally left behind—such a kind gesture! This time, my room had a different view, but the layout and furnishings remained exactly as I remembered from my previous stay—comfortable and elegant. I still enjoy my daily visit to the on-site bathhouse, which is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Nagoya. The sunset at 4:30 PM was absolutely stunning—captured it for you all!

Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel (JR-Central Hotels)

Staying right above Nagoya Station was an absolute game-changer. The hotel is seamlessly connected to JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu lines, plus local subway and bus stops—getting anywhere in the city or even to the airport or Legoland was effortless. Yes, the room rate is on the higher side, but the convenience made it worth every penny. We were on the 22nd floor facing west, so we could hear trains occasionally passing below—but honestly, it didn’t disturb sleep at all. The surrounding area is packed with options: Takashimaya department store, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants—you can grab everything within steps. The room itself isn’t huge, but the view from the upper floor is unbeatable, especially at night when the city lights sparkle across the skyline. Daily cleaning was thorough, staff were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like quality toiletries and skincare sets. The bathroom was spacious with a relaxing bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Overall, the combination of location, comfort, and service made this stay truly memorable.
