The Madrid Edition
Staying at The Madrid Edition was an absolute delight—right in the heart of Madrid, just a short walk from everything. The room was luxurious with top-notch amenities, and I loved that they used Le Labo products throughout. It’s my second time staying here, and even though I didn’t get upgraded to a suite this time, the experience was still outstanding. Both the rooftop and ground-floor bars are incredibly popular—especially in the evening when the vibe is electric and Instagram-worthy spots are everywhere. But honestly, the highlight has to be the rooftop pool. The view over Madrid is breathtaking, especially during sunset. It’s one of those rare places where every detail feels intentional and perfect. If you’re looking for a stylish, vibrant stay with unbeatable ambiance, this hotel is a must-visit.

We’d definitely stay here again! The location is fantastic—super convenient for public transport, just a short ride to the airport, and surrounded by great restaurants and cozy cafés with reasonable prices. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and well-designed, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers. Our only minor note was one front desk staff member who seemed a bit unfriendly and not very proactive, but the rest of the team were warm, helpful, and attentive. Overall, the experience was excellent, and with a little improvement in guest service attitude, this place would be truly outstanding.

Staying at Canaan Boutique Apartments Madrid made our 8-day trip to the city absolutely unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—just a short 100-meter walk from Santo Domingo metro station and only 200 meters from Callao on Gran Via, making it incredibly easy to explore Madrid by public transit. Whether you're heading to Atocha Station, Moncloa, or the southern bus terminal, everything is within reach. If you prefer walking, you’re in luck—the Temple of Debod is just a 5-10 minute stroll away, Plaza Mayor is about 15 minutes, Sol is only 10 minutes on foot, and both the Royal Palace and Prado Museum are comfortably reachable in under 30 minutes. There’s a supermarket right next door, plus an amazing variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops—making daily life super convenient. And for taxis? Perfect: there’s an official pickup point just 50 meters down the street, ideal for airport transfers. Inside the apartment, it’s spacious, bright, and very well-designed. Located on the 6th floor with elevator access, it feels peaceful despite being in the heart of the city (some occasional noise from neighbors or the street is normal, though). Plenty of storage space, a fully functional kitchen with a dishwasher, and clean, well-appointed bathrooms make this a highly practical home base. One small note: the kitchen lacks some essentials—like a frying pan—which makes cooking a bit more challenging if you’re planning to prepare meals. But overall, this place nails every aspect of a great stay. If we ever return to Madrid, we’ll definitely book here again without hesitation.

That said, the location is quite far from the city center and main attractions. If you're only staying for one or two nights, it might be better to choose a place closer to the action. The good news? Bus line 150 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to Puerta del Sol with no transfers, making public transit a convenient option. Just keep in mind that taxis in Madrid are extremely expensive—my ride from the hotel to the city center cost over €30, which isn’t ideal for short stays. Overall, this hotel works better for longer visits when you’re looking to save on transport costs and don’t mind a bit of distance. For travelers prioritizing convenience and budget, especially those planning to explore on foot or by bus, this place offers great value.
