Plus, the location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the train station, making travel around Frankfurt super easy. This place truly delivers comfort, charm, and great value. While there’s no free airport transfer, no kettle, and no laundry service, they do offer free luggage storage, plus complimentary lemon water and apples—small touches that make a big difference. For a trip to Heidelberg, I booked a bus ticket via the platform, choosing to board at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) with pickup at Terminal 1’s parking area—just a quick 5-minute walk from the arrival level. The bus drops you right at Heidelberg Train Station, where the bus stop is just around the corner. I bought a one-day public transit pass at the tram tracks near the station entrance using cash or card—perfect for getting around town. All major sights, including the castle, are within easy reach. When I opened the door, I found the housekeeper vacuuming my room while the door was locked—this happened twice, including once the next day. It was quite surprising and a bit awkward. Maybe it’s just a cultural difference, but a simple heads-up or confirmation before entering could make a big difference. Overall, the hotel offers great value, good cleanliness, and convenient access to the city center. Just a few small improvements would make the experience even better.
