From the moment we passed through the historic elephant ramp leading to the property, we were greeted by breathtaking architecture and serene courtyards adorned with Rajput and Mughal-inspired designs. The central courtyard is a true highlight—home to a charming bar, the reception area, and a few boutique shops that add a touch of local flair. Despite being in downtown Jaipur, the hotel feels remarkably peaceful, with only a slight buzz when visiting the rooftop bar, which offers panoramic views of the city skyline—perfect for sunset drinks. The welcome was warm and professional, complete with a refreshing welcome drink, just like every other hotel we stayed at during our Rajasthan journey. The lobby is absolutely magnificent, blending original palace features—like intricately carved walls and ceilings—with colonial-era furnishings that create a timeless elegance. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, overlooking either a lush garden or a quiet inner courtyard depending on the category. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor struck the perfect balance between traditional Indian craftsmanship and modern luxury. Bathrooms were generous in size, featuring both a soaking tub and an Italian-style shower, along with high-quality toiletries and exceptionally soft, plush towels. Breakfast was a generous buffet plus à la carte options, full of variety and flavor. Prices are understandably higher for this destination, but they feel fair for European travelers seeking a premium experience. Additional amenities include a gorgeous swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a spa—though we didn’t get to try the treatments, the ambiance alone made it worth noting. Overall, Samode Haveli isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a journey back in time, wrapped in luxury, charm, and authenticity. A truly unforgettable gem in the heart of Jaipur.

The overall atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it an ideal retreat after a busy day exploring Jaipur. Cleanliness, comfort, and service all exceeded expectations. This hotel offers outstanding value for money. I’d definitely recommend it and will be returning soon.

My stay at The Kurki Heritage in Jaipur was extremely disappointing. Toiletries were completely missing from the room, which is a basic expectation for any hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, with thin and visibly dirty sheets that made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The toilet flush wasn't working properly—multiple attempts failed to clear the bowl, causing frustration. Even more alarming, the complimentary water bottle provided had a strange oily residue on the outside and smelled strongly of garlic, making it impossible to drink. Overall, hygiene standards were seriously lacking, and the service felt neglected. This experience fell far short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a decent, clean, and reliable stay.

This was an absolutely terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I had fully paid for a three-night stay in advance and tried repeatedly to contact the hotel via email and phone to inform them about my late check-in plans—but received no response at all. The property claims to have 24-hour front desk service, yet when I arrived at around midnight, I was denied check-in. Staff barely stirred from their mats where they were sleeping and told me the rooms were already full—and someone else had already been checked into my room! As a result, I spent two hours wandering through an unfamiliar city at night trying to find another place to stay. It was exhausting and incredibly stressful. To make matters worse, the actual hotel and lobby look nothing like the photos online—way more run-down and poorly maintained. The reality is far worse than the listing suggests. If you're looking for a safe, reliable place to stay in Jaipur, avoid this one at all costs.
