The room and service were excellent—truly exceeded our expectations. We don’t speak much foreign language, but the front desk staff was incredibly patient and helpful, using simple English and gestures to make everything smooth. The location is a bit off the main tourist trail, but that’s actually a plus: right outside the hotel are stops for tram lines 11 and 14, both of which run frequently and connect directly to the main train station. Getting here by tram is super convenient. Walking from the station is doable, but it involves a steep uphill climb. Here’s a little tip we discovered: instead of the main route, head through the park behind the train station, follow the river path to a bridge, cross it (there’s another option on the left), then turn left along the riverside. After about 30 meters, you’ll spot a staircase with an elevator beside it—take the elevator to level three, exit left, and you’ll find yourself on a charming old European cobblestone path. Follow this into a small park, exit at the far side, and suddenly your navigation app will show how close the hotel is—no more long uphill trek! Plus, you get a unique view of the city from a different angle. The photo of the hotel’s exterior is taken from the main entrance; the downhill path on the left leads straight into the park. If you open your map immediately after stepping out of the train station, you’ll likely miss this shortcut entirely. Highly recommend this route for travelers who enjoy exploring offbeat paths and want to avoid the climb. Overall, great value, warm hospitality, and a memorable arrival.

The room was only 18 sqm, but surprisingly spacious and well-designed—no sense of crowding at all. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were complete, and cleanliness stood out: everything felt fresh and spotless, even the bathroom. I brought two large 28-inch suitcases in, and still had plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, fresh ingredients, made-to-order items, and local favorites like pastries and fresh fruit platters. It felt like a proper meal, not just a buffet. For the price and quality, this was one of the best value stays I’ve had in Switzerland. Highly recommend for travelers heading to the Zurich Messe area—great location, great comfort, and an unforgettable experience.

I didn’t quite figure out how to use the induction cooktop, so I brought my own electric pot instead. The microwave, however, was a lifesaver—perfect for roasting sweet potatoes that turned out incredibly delicious! We arrived from the bus terminal and took a shortcut through the Marriott hotel area, which made the walk much quicker. Bonus points for the front desk staff speaking Chinese—great for communication and added peace of mind. Overall, this place offers amazing value and comfort, making it a top pick for travelers who want convenience without the hassle.

While some rooms don’t have air conditioning, the temperature was still pleasant, and the neighborhood is quiet, which made for a restful night’s sleep. High-speed Wi-Fi worked perfectly—great for business travelers. The on-site gym is compact but fully functional for basic workouts, and the breakfast buffet was generous and fresh, giving me energy for the whole day.
