The Apartments

The property is absolutely stunning. I stayed in one of the apartments, which was spacious and immaculately clean—truly exceeded my expectations. Everything I needed was just a short Uber ride away, making exploration effortless. The staff were consistently attentive and professional, adding to the excellent experience. The only minor hiccup was the name confusion: on the booking platform, it’s listed as "The Apartments," but it’s actually part of the Intercontinental Jeddah complex—just one building within a larger development. This caused some issues with the taxi driver who struggled to locate us, costing us extra time. Despite that, the overall stay was fantastic. The location, comfort, and service are top-notch. I’d still give this place a solid 5-star rating without hesitation.

The space was spacious and the view from the window was breathtaking—just waking up to the sea was a treat. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and delicious flavors, especially the local specialties. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Located just steps from the metro, getting around the city was super convenient. For the quality, service, and value, this is one of the best stays I’ve had in Jeddah. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Hotel Hoor Park

Staying at Hotel Hoor Park was a mixed experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help, especially with meal times—very thoughtful. However, I requested housekeeping early in the morning and still hadn’t seen anyone by 4 PM, which was frustrating. Trying to get shampoo felt like chasing a mirage—none available anywhere. The pool, which heats up to 48°C, closes at 5 PM, which is quite early for such a hot climate. It would’ve been great if it stayed open later. While the hotel’s quiet location and overall ambiance are appealing, service consistency needs improvement. A few small upgrades in responsiveness and facilities could really boost the guest experience. Overall, decent for a quick stop, but not without room for growth.

What stood out most was the personalized service—the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive. Small touches like complimentary beverages and consistent hot water added to the overall comfort. The air conditioning worked perfectly without any noise, and the quiet ambiance made it easy to unwind. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional value for money and a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jeddah.

Romera Hotel

Staying at Romera Hotel in Jeddah was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, quiet, and had a separate living area—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. On our first evening, we brought back leftover KFC and asked if we could reheat it. To our surprise, the kitchen not only allowed us to use the facilities but also gifted us free fries, a side of chicken nuggets, and drinks—just to share with my Chinese friends! It felt so thoughtful and generous. I couldn’t help but smile and say thank you over and over again. This level of kindness is rare, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. If you're visiting Jeddah, this hotel is absolutely worth every penny.

Narcissus Boutique Hotel Al Hamra

Staying at Narcissus Boutique Hotel Al Hamra in Jeddah was a genuinely pleasant experience. Located just about 3 km from the city center, it’s very convenient to get around—especially if you’re using public transit. The hotel is immaculately clean, which aligns with the high standards seen throughout Saudi Arabia. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring smart home technology and various advanced systems that really elevate the comfort level. The spa area is on the smaller side—just one hot whirlpool, a cold hydrotherapy jet, and a traditional Turkish bath—but it’s perfectly adequate for a quick relaxation session. Breakfast was generous in quantity but didn’t quite hit the mark for our European tastes. That said, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the stay much smoother. The price point is on the higher end, but considering it’s a boutique-style property with such a great location, it’s not unreasonable. If budget allows, this could be a solid choice. However, if you're looking for better value, there might be slightly more competitive options available.

What really stood out was the coffee—especially the mocha, which was rich, smooth, and far better than I expected. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. It’s clear they care about guest experience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Jeddah.

Vital House Apartments

The apartment was spacious and the price was very reasonable—definitely a good value for the size. That said, there were a few issues that made the stay less than ideal. Upon arrival, I realized there were no towels provided, so I had to request them—asked for four bath towels for my group of four, but only received two. The fridge in both units we stayed at was unplugged when we arrived, making it unusable. The washing machine didn’t dry clothes effectively—even though it’s a multi-functional unit, the drying cycle was weak and left things damp. We also found only one roll of toilet paper available, which was quite minimal. It seemed like the building was still under renovation—there were exposed electrical outlets from the walls, though they weren’t dangerous. I tried contacting the front desk via email and phone, but got no response. Eventually, a relative managed to reach them through WhatsApp using a Saudi number, which helped resolve the situation, especially since check-in was after 1 a.m. The neighborhood is safe, but not particularly lively or convenient. Another concern: the main door to our apartment wouldn’t lock properly—it could be pushed open without a key, likely due to ongoing renovations. We didn’t report it during our stay, partly because we trusted the safety of Saudi Arabia and were busy with travel plans. We did mention it during checkout, noting that the door could simply be pushed inward to enter. Would I stay here again? Honestly, yes—especially considering the room size and price. It’s close to many amenities, and with some improvements in housekeeping and maintenance, this place has great potential.
