ILLUME TAIPEI
This was my first stay at a luxury international hotel, and I couldn’t be more impressed. We drove in, but the hotel’s location is fantastic—right next to both Xiaojie Station and Nanjing Fuxing Station on the MRT, making it super easy to get around Taipei. Just a short walk from the hotel brings you to major shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment spots, perfect for first-time visitors exploring the city. The room was spotless, modern, and spacious—especially the bathroom, which clearly had been recently renovated. The soundproofing is excellent; even in the middle of a busy urban area, we slept like babies through the night. We stayed in a triple room with three adults and two large suitcases plus two carry-ons—plenty of space, no crowding at all. Plus, the hotel offers dedicated parking, a huge plus for those arriving by car. With its unbeatable convenience, clean design, and family-friendly layout, this place delivers exceptional value. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!

The bathroom was well-designed with a clean, functional layout—dry and wet areas separated nicely, plus high-quality amenities. Everything felt thoughtfully curated: from the climate control to the subtle touches like ambient lighting. Location is fantastic too—just a short walk to Taipei Station and easily accessible to major attractions like Ximending and Xinyi District. With its great comfort, smart design, and unbeatable convenience, this place has already made it onto my must-stay list whenever I return to Taipei.

Staying at Amba Taipei Songshan was an absolute delight! The hotel is directly above Songshan MRT and Taiwan Railway stations, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city—just a short walk to the bustling Raohe Street Night Market. There’s also a lively shopping mall right downstairs with plenty of dining options and stores, so you never have to go far for food or essentials. I booked the 101 room on the top floor, which offered stunning panoramic views of Taipei City—perfect for capturing those skyline photos. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was thorough, and amenities were always replenished. One minor downside was the weak water pressure in the shower, which slightly affected the experience. Breakfast was standard—not fancy, but satisfying enough to start the day without needing to grab something elsewhere. Overall, this hotel delivers great value, excellent location, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely return.

Across the street, you’ve got both FamilyMart and 7-Eleven, so grabbing essentials is effortless. Located near major districts like Zhongshan, Ximending, and Dongmen, everything is just a few stops away on the MRT. The staff are quick to respond and genuinely helpful whenever I had a question or needed assistance. One thing I really appreciated? No deposit required—super convenient. The room came with a large TV that streamed YouTube and Netflix without any buffering issues. Plus, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it easy to hop on the Minsheng Express line for trips around town. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this location offers unbeatable access and comfort. Definitely going to come back.

Breakfast was served à la carte with a wide variety of options—my personal favorites were the local-style congee and homemade pastries, both deliciously authentic. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.

The experience was unforgettable, and the value for money is outstanding. If you're planning a unique and memorable New Year celebration in Taipei, this is definitely the place to be.

Staying at Boutech Jiantan Hotel was a great experience overall! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. One small note: bottled water isn’t provided in the room, but there’s a water dispenser in the hallway that’s easy to use. The hotel has a cozy coffee shop on the ground floor, ideal for a morning pick-me-up. Best of all, it’s just a short walk to Shilin Night Market—awesome for food lovers! The only downside is the distance to the MRT station (about 10 minutes brisk walk), but given how well-priced and convenient everything else is, I’d definitely stay here again. Great value for money!

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a cozy bed and thoughtful touches throughout. The only minor downside was that the central air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted in intensity, but it didn’t affect comfort much. Breakfast was a highlight—varied, delicious, and satisfying, with both Western and local breakfast items. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

Finally stayed at FX Hotel Taipei Nanjing East Road – and it was a great experience! Our family trip to Taipei made this hotel a perfect choice. Located right near the bustling Nanjing East Road, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city. We took the MRT just minutes away and even caught bus 306 to Ningxia Night Market in the evening – lively and full of local flavor. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed. One small tip: the front desk is on the 15th floor, so don’t be surprised if you expect it to be on the ground level – staff were very helpful when we arrived. We skipped breakfast but walked just 10 minutes to a nearby Wuhu Soy Milk shop, which turned out to be delicious and authentic. Everyone in our family loved the stay and the whole trip. Great value, excellent location, and warm hospitality. Definitely coming back next time!

Breakfast is included in the room rate, so I could start each day with a hearty meal before heading out to explore. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and efficient—definitely exceeded my expectations, especially since I’d heard some stereotypes about northern Taiwan service being less warm. Quite the opposite here! And kudos to them for offering a 12 PM checkout time—something you rarely see these days when most hotels push for 11 AM. This hotel truly stands out for its thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality. A top-tier experience from start to finish.

Staying at the Green World JianPei in Taipei was an absolute delight! I booked a deluxe double room with a king-sized bed, and from the moment I walked in, everything felt spacious and well-maintained. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just steps away from Songjiang-Nanjing MRT Station, making it super easy to explore the city by train. There are plenty of shops, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so you never have to go far for essentials. The front desk is staffed 24/7, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay. The room itself was generously sized, with great views from the higher floor and surprisingly good soundproofing—I didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms at all. In-room amenities included two bottles of mineral water, an electric kettle, and a mini-fridge, all very convenient. The bathroom stood out with its spacious layout, clean dry-wet separation, and a relaxing bathtub perfect for unwinding after a long day. While I didn’t use the free Wi-Fi or breakfast, the overall value was outstanding considering the price during peak season. With such excellent transport access and a comfortable, quiet environment, I’d definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.
