We’ve been returning to Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa for three years now, and it just keeps getting better. The property is beautifully maintained—lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness. The only small note is that the windows don’t have blackout curtains—just adjustable shades that don’t fully block out sunlight. This means we tend to wake up early when the sun comes up, but it’s a minor trade-off for such a fantastic stay. Overall, the resort delivers incredible value, especially being so close to Universal Studios. We’ll definitely be back again next year.

The property is beautifully maintained with lush greenery and clean, inviting common areas. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and always ready to help — we appreciated every interaction. There’s a great variety of daily activities designed for families, keeping both kids and adults entertained throughout the day. From craft stations to themed events, there was always something fun going on. While there’s just one on-site restaurant, the food was excellent — especially the mahi tacos and funnel cake fries, which became instant favorites. And being just minutes from major attractions like Disney and Universal Studios makes exploring so easy. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place delivers. We had such a wonderful time that we’re already planning our return trip!

Staying at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld was an absolute highlight of our trip! The buffet breakfast was one of the best we've had in Orlando—plenty of fresh options and great variety. The pool area is fantastic, with a splash pad and water slides perfect for kids. We even enjoyed a relaxing movie night by the pool, where we watched "The Little Mermaid" under the stars—such a magical touch! Walking over to Sea World is super easy—just a quick stroll across the bridge. The only downside? A $45 resort fee and $36 for self-parking, which adds up. But honestly, the location, amenities, and overall experience make it totally worth it. If you're visiting Orlando with family, this hotel delivers on fun, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommend!

While the overall experience was fantastic and worth every penny, location within the resort matters more than we expected. Next time, I’d request a closer room upfront to save time and energy. Still, it’s an amazing place with great vibes and top-notch cleanliness—just plan your room selection wisely!

Regarding cleanliness, everything looked spotless at first glance, but we did notice some previous guests had left slightly dirty plates behind—likely not the hotel’s fault, but more about other guests’ habits. Shuttle buses to Universal are available with a 24-hour advance booking requirement; without a reservation, you can’t board, so plan ahead. There are three departures each morning and three in the evening—perfect for early risers or late-night park-goers. Super convenient location, excellent value, and highly recommended!
