The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, but it still worked fine for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the Christmas decor throughout the property—so festive and beautifully done! From the elegant tree arrangements to the twinkling lights and seasonal touches, the atmosphere felt magical, especially during the holiday season. It made the entire stay feel special and unique. If you're visiting Orlando around Christmas time and want a cozy, festive vibe with great service, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

We’ve been returning to Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa for three years now, and it just keeps getting better. The property is beautifully maintained—lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness. The only small note is that the windows don’t have blackout curtains—just adjustable shades that don’t fully block out sunlight. This means we tend to wake up early when the sun comes up, but it’s a minor trade-off for such a fantastic stay. Overall, the resort delivers incredible value, especially being so close to Universal Studios. We’ll definitely be back again next year.

While there’s just one on-site restaurant, the food was excellent — especially the mahi tacos and funnel cake fries, which became instant favorites. And being just minutes from major attractions like Disney and Universal Studios makes exploring so easy. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place delivers. We had such a wonderful time that we’re already planning our return trip!

We loved how spacious and well-equipped the room was, with everything we needed including full kitchenware. Staying for three nights, we didn’t request housekeeping at all—something that’s rare these days, especially compared to other places where cleaning is only offered after 5–7 nights. The property itself has great amenities for both adults and kids, so we were entertained right on-site. There are plenty of dining options nearby, plus supermarkets and outlets just a short walk away. It’s clear this place is popular with tourists, and for good reason—it’s clean, comfortable, and packed with value. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a relaxed yet central base in Orlando.

Upon arriving at the lobby to check in, I noticed someone behind me accidentally stepped on a cockroach. Honestly, that moment made me question my choice—had I made a mistake? But having lived in Florida my whole life, I knew this wasn’t uncommon, so I let it go. The room itself was spotless and exactly what we needed after a long day. Perfect location for SeaWorld and Aquatica—the main reason we came. There are two great restaurants nearby, making dining out super convenient. Breakfast was outstanding! I especially loved the mini egg quiche muffins—they were rich, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. One downside? Parking is charged separately. It would’ve been much better if parking was included in the room rate. Overall, a solid stay with just one small improvement needed.
