We’ve been returning to Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa for three years now, and it just keeps getting better. The property is beautifully maintained—lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness. The only small note is that the windows don’t have blackout curtains—just adjustable shades that don’t fully block out sunlight. This means we tend to wake up early when the sun comes up, but it’s a minor trade-off for such a fantastic stay. Overall, the resort delivers incredible value, especially being so close to Universal Studios. We’ll definitely be back again next year.

From craft stations to themed events, there was always something fun going on. While there’s just one on-site restaurant, the food was excellent — especially the mahi tacos and funnel cake fries, which became instant favorites. And being just minutes from major attractions like Disney and Universal Studios makes exploring so easy. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place delivers. We had such a wonderful time that we’re already planning our return trip!

Stayed here for seven nights and overall had a very positive experience. The room was clean, and the bed offered just the right balance of softness and support—perfect for a good night’s sleep. There are plenty of fast food options nearby, plus a convenience store where you can pick up drinks to stash in the fridge for later. The hotel provides shuttle services to both Disney and Universal, but the schedules are a bit odd—Disney shuttles leave around 10:30 AM, while the Universal one departs at 7:05 AM. Since I wanted to get into the park early, I opted for a Lyft instead. It's worth noting that housekeeping isn’t done daily; if you need cleaning, you have to request it in advance at the front desk. On the bright side, there are three locations within the property with free washers and dryers—just bring your own detergent, which makes laundry super convenient. One minor downside is the soundproofing: noise from neighboring rooms is quite noticeable, especially conversations or footsteps. If possible, avoid ground-floor rooms, as they’re near the trash bins and can be noisy at night when guests toss out waste. Overall, a solid choice for Orlando stays, especially if you value convenience and space.

All in all, this place offers excellent value, great access, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely return.
