When checking in, the staff asked if I was from Budapest, and if so, they pulled out a map to help me understand the neighborhood—such a thoughtful touch. The room size felt larger than advertised (especially for a double), which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast space is a bit crowded—probably because the weather kept guests from using the outdoor terrace—but the menu, though not extensive, covers all the basics: fresh bread, eggs, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. The rooftop sauna? Honestly, it's more of a small 3-person hot tub labeled as a sauna. Sharing such a private space with strangers made it awkward, so we skipped it. But let’s be real—getting a well-sized, breakfast-included 4-star hotel in central Budapest for under $100 is incredibly rare. This place delivers on value, comfort, and local charm. A true standout.

Some sausages seemed questionable in terms of ingredients, possibly containing pork, so those avoiding it should be cautious. Still, we stayed two nights and left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Would absolutely recommend and book here again—great value and a fantastic base for exploring Budapest.

Though it used to be called Dean's College, the current vibe is far from institutional—more like a cozy, modern boutique stay. Clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Great value for money and highly recommended. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Budapest.

This was also the first time I’ve ever been asked to pay a deposit—higher than the total booking cost—though we never even got to that point. Throughout the entire ordeal, customer support only responded with generic, irrelevant templates, offering no real help. By the time I arrived at the property, I’d already wasted precious hours trying to resolve something that should’ve been simple. The lack of communication, poor responsiveness, and unwillingness to accommodate a last-minute situation made the experience frustrating and stressful. If you're looking for flexibility and genuine assistance, this isn’t the place. Not recommended.
