Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, always arriving at the right time. Located just 100 meters to the left of the hotel, there’s a charming little local neighborhood with cozy cafés and shops, while a larger shopping mall is only 200 meters away—perfect for quick errands or evening strolls. The metro station is within walking distance, making it easy to explore downtown Budapest. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh bread, local cheeses, and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Everything about this stay was top-notch—from location to service. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Rooms are compact, so fitting both suitcases between two people required some careful planning, but the bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies. Plus, the air conditioning worked like a charm during warmer days—no sweating, no discomfort. A great mix of convenience, comfort, and smart pricing.

I stayed at Leonardo Hotel Budapest and was really impressed! The location is great—taking a bus from the airport took about 55 minutes, and even though I arrived just after midnight, the area felt safe throughout the journey. Walking to the hotel was easy and secure. Upon check-in, they kindly offered a complimentary bottle of water—a small touch, but it made a big difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. It's also super convenient for getting around—just a short ride on the metro to reach downtown. Excellent value for money and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Budapest.

Travelling solo in Hungary, I didn’t speak Hungarian and struggled to understand much English—but staying at Di Verdi Imperial Hotel made the whole experience so much easier. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of a nearby church—especially magical during sunset. Its central location is perfect for exploring: just a short walk to the metro, which made visiting places like the Great Market Hall and attending a church service effortless. I loved being able to store my luggage safely, allowing me to wander freely throughout the city. Even stumbled upon a shopping mall I hadn’t planned to visit—turned out to be a fun surprise! While there were no toiletries or toothbrush provided (something I expected), it didn’t bother me at all. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. If I ever return to Budapest, I’d absolutely stay here again.

The location is excellent—just steps away from the metro, tram, and bus stops, making it super convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. A Lidl supermarket is right next door, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Breakfast is decent but lacks some cultural touches—no cheese or olives, which would have added more character. Some sausages seemed questionable in terms of ingredients, possibly containing pork, so those avoiding it should be cautious. Still, we stayed two nights and left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Would absolutely recommend and book here again—great value and a fantastic base for exploring Budapest.
Benczur Hotel
Staying at Benczur Hotel was an absolute delight—far better than expected and incredibly good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic: abundant, delicious, and with a wide variety of options that kept us full throughout the day, even well into the afternoon. We arrived early, and despite not being check-in time yet, they let us in as early as 9 AM—super accommodating! They also offered currency exchange for Hungarian Forints, which was super helpful. The room was bright, clean, and spotless, with excellent natural light and a perfectly warm shower. It’s just a short walk to Heroes’ Square, and from there, exploring the city via Budapest’s historic yellow metro line (the first underground railway in Europe) was such a fun adventure. Everything about this stay was perfect—from location to service to comfort. Highly recommend this gem!
