They always knocked before entering, even if we were inside, which showed great respect for privacy. Our bedroom had a door and windows, so when closed, it was extremely quiet—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Only slight hallway noise became noticeable when the door was open, but it wasn’t disruptive at all. The rooftop view overlooking the sea is absolutely stunning. I’d definitely book a sea-view room on my next visit. Breakfast was fantastic: four warm options, fresh fruit, cheese, bread, pancakes, coffee, and juice—all generous portions and satisfyingly filling. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient. There are mini-stores nearby so dense you’d think you’re in Taiwan—everything you need is within walking distance. The street is lined with restaurants; prices aren’t cheap, but the food quality is outstanding. It’s just a short walk to both the mosque and church, making it easy to explore the area’s rich culture. One thing to note: the streets are paved with cobblestones, so dragging luggage can be tricky—but thankfully, the shuttle dropped us right at the entrance, and Uber pickups also come straight to the front door. Overall, this place offers incredible value, comfort, and charm. I’ll definitely be back.

Housed in a beautifully restored former convent, the rooms are spacious with a unique charm that you don’t often find in modern hotels. The facilities are simple but thoughtfully designed for comfort. What truly stood out was the service—before I even reached the front door, a staff member came down to help carry my luggage up the slope. Since we arrived early and the room wasn’t ready yet, they happily stored our bags so we could explore the neighborhood right away. Later, upon returning, the front desk kindly reminded us about the complimentary coffee and snacks available at the lounge café. When we got back to our room, there was a welcome card and a small chocolate waiting on the desk—such a sweet touch! Breakfast was served in a top-floor Michelin-rated restaurant, offering a generous and delicious spread. In the evening, I ordered room service and got fries and a burger—yes, it was pricey, but wow, the taste was incredible and totally worth it. The surrounding neighborhood is fantastic: charming little streets filled with authentic Italian restaurants, boutique design shops, jewelry stores, home decor boutiques, ceramics, and art galleries.
