Staying at Hillside Premium Apartments was a real highlight of our trip to Budapest. The studio is cozy, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with a compact but functional kitchen—perfect for light meals. What truly stood out was the balcony view; we booked the Mountain View unit, and waking up to the rolling hills stretching across the horizon was absolutely breathtaking. The included bathtub made it even more relaxing after a long day exploring the city. Located just minutes from the metro, getting around town was effortless. It’s a quiet, peaceful retreat with excellent value—definitely a place I’d return to.

Staying at BI & BI in Budapest felt like stepping into a stylish, welcoming home away from home. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and effortlessly chic—modern design with just the right touch of cozy charm. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and went out of their way to make sure I felt at ease, which instantly made me feel like I was in good hands. My room was a true highlight: perfectly balanced between comfort and elegance. The bed was heavenly—like sleeping on a cloud—and after a long day exploring the city, it was the perfect place to unwind. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, adding to the overall sense of luxury. But what really sets this hotel apart is its unbeatable location. Right in the heart of Budapest, everything—from the Danube River to local cafes and hidden gems—is just a short stroll away. Whether I was walking along the riverbank or discovering charming streets, returning to BI & BI always felt like coming home. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s the ideal base for an unforgettable Budapest adventure. I can’t wait to come back.

The rooms at Fifteen Boutique Rooms Budapest are beautifully decorated, and the whole property maintains a charming, thoughtful atmosphere. Located in a quiet part of Buda, it’s just steps away from Metro Line 2, trams, and Bus 16—perfect for getting around town without hassle. We booked the hotel’s airport transfer, and it was flawless—punctual, professional, and stress-free. The garden and terrace look amazing in summer, though we visited during colder weather and couldn’t enjoy them to the fullest. Still, it’s clear this space is designed with comfort and charm in mind. For a boutique stay that blends style, convenience, and excellent service, this place truly stands out. I’d definitely come back.

We stayed for three nights at Mohacsi Guesthouse and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The room was spotless, spacious, and very inviting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really stood out was the price: unbeatable value for money, making it hard to find a better deal anywhere else. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the city center, with easy access to both buses and metro lines, which made exploring the city so convenient. There’s also a great Italian restaurant just a 5-minute stroll away—perfect for dinner after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, adding an extra touch of comfort to our stay. Overall, this place exceeded all expectations. We’ve already planned to return next year and highly recommend Mohacsi Guesthouse to anyone visiting Budapest.

We've been coming back to Beatrix Hotel since 1991, almost every year, and this time we brought our kids and grandchildren from the US to reunite with our Hungarian family. The hotel absolutely nailed it—perfect room arrangements and seamless support for our family gathering. The pricing was incredibly fair, especially with breakfast included in the room rate and a great deal on the event setup. The owner and staff are always attentive, genuinely friendly, and professional. Multilingual team fluent in English, German, and Hungarian makes communication effortless. It’s more than just a stay—it feels like coming home. We’ll definitely be back.

The Hotel Casa Latina is located in a very convenient spot—just a short walk from the metro lines 4 and 5, and the 56 bus runs right past it. With the 91 bus, you can easily return to your accommodation in one ride. The private parking is excellent and a real plus for travelers with a car. The building itself has a charming vintage style, and the overall architecture is quite attractive. Unfortunately, the reality doesn’t match the potential. From the moment we stepped into the room, we noticed cobwebs and spiders everywhere—not just in the lobby but throughout the bathroom and bedroom. The cleaning staff pushed a shopping cart filled with cleaning supplies, but it wasn’t clear where they were actually using them. The room smelled musty and chemical—like a mix of artificial air freshener and mold. It was extremely humid, which made the stay uncomfortable. The shower tray was too small, and the curtain looked like something from a circus tent—it leaked water as soon as you moved, flooding the floor. Mold was clearly visible on the bathroom walls, especially in room 22. The threshold of the shower was so low that the curtain couldn’t contain the water properly. Tile grout around the shower was filthy, and the bathroom fan was clogged with dust and spider webs—completely non-functional. The showerhead didn’t stay in place and had to be held manually while showering, making it awkward and frustrating, especially when trying not to disturb the leaking curtain. The linens were dirty—the pillowcases even had a strong smell of unwashed hair. We asked the friendly blonde front desk staff to change them, but even the replacement set had stains. Underneath the pillows were yellowed patches—definitely need to be thrown away. There were also bloodstains on the sheets, so we didn’t dare check the mattress. Instead, we grabbed a clean sheet from the hallway and covered the bed. No power outlets near the bedside tables—very inconvenient for charging phones. We were given only one towel, and after reading other reviews, we knew this was a common issue. Still, it took nearly half an hour to find a second one. The window was broken, and although we reported it, no one came to fix it. The public carpets were filthy—covered in dust and stains—and looked absolutely disgusting. The bar seemed nonexistent. And the air conditioning? Don’t even turn it on—it stinks. It’s such a pity because the hotel has great bones and charm. It just needs a serious deep clean and some maintenance. You might wonder: why didn’t we just leave? Well, we were exhausted after a long flight, had already paid, and didn’t want to waste more time searching for another place. So we stayed—but honestly, it’s not worth it unless major improvements are made.
