After about 30 meters, you’ll spot a staircase with an elevator beside it—take the elevator to level three, exit left, and you’ll find yourself on a charming old European cobblestone path. Follow this into a small park, exit at the far side, and suddenly your navigation app will show how close the hotel is—no more long uphill trek! Plus, you get a unique view of the city from a different angle. The photo of the hotel’s exterior is taken from the main entrance; the downhill path on the left leads straight into the park. If you open your map immediately after stepping out of the train station, you’ll likely miss this shortcut entirely. Highly recommend this route for travelers who enjoy exploring offbeat paths and want to avoid the climb. Overall, great value, warm hospitality, and a memorable arrival.
