Staying at EK Inn Hotel was an absolute delight! My room was upgraded for free—smaller than expected but very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff went above and beyond: when my friend got scratched by a cat, they immediately provided iodine swabs, band-aids, and alcohol wipes—so thoughtful! Housekeeping came by every day without fail, keeping everything tidy and fresh. Location-wise, it's just 30 meters from Gangwan Square exit D—super convenient. Right downstairs are restaurants like Zhenghuangqi BBQ, a new foot spa, and plenty of other dining options nearby. A short walk takes you to McDonald’s and the beautiful waterfront area. Dalian itself is such a lovely city, and staying here made exploring effortless. Great value, excellent service, and a really comfortable stay overall—I’ll definitely be back.

The location is unbeatable: right across from Dalian Mall, with easy access to shopping, dining, and nearby attractions. Public transportation is just steps away, making it simple to explore the city. Staff were warm, attentive, and went the extra mile—from fresh fruit upon arrival to thoughtful souvenirs when checking out. Breakfast was generous and varied, offering a great start to the day. The only minor note is that the hairdryer in the room could use an upgrade—it barely worked. Still, this small issue doesn’t detract from the excellent value and hospitality. If you're looking for a convenient, well-located, and friendly stay in Dalian, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
Hampton by Hilton Dalian Zhongshan
This was my first trip to Dalian, and I initially stayed at a nearby luxury hotel, but the room temperature was only around 22°C—way too cold for the weather here. After two uncomfortable nights, I found a vacancy at Hampton by Hilton Dalian Zhongshan and quickly switched over. Before check-in, I mentioned to front desk staff Xiao Song that I really needed a warmer room. She promptly checked the building’s temperature data and upgraded me to a higher floor—perfect move! The actual room temperature hit over 26°C, making it so much more comfortable. The room was spotless, fresh-smelling, and very quiet. What truly blew me away was the surprise farewell gift from Xiao Yang and Xiao Xu when I checked out—they noticed it was our birthday and gave us thoughtful little presents. That kind of personal touch is rare and deeply appreciated. I’m already planning to return in March and will absolutely stay here again. Excellent value, warm service, and a memorable experience—highly recommend this hotel!

Every step of my journey, from check-in to addressing my needs, was handled with genuine care and attention. It’s clear that guest comfort is her top priority. This level of personalized hospitality elevated the entire experience to perfection. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel—Xiao Yu deserves a big shoutout for making my trip unforgettable!

I highly recommend the deluxe king room and the breakfast at this hotel. During New Year’s Day, I paid just $200 for a full day — an incredible value for a 4-star experience. The room features solid wood furniture with a warm, elegant feel that really stands out. The breakfast buffet was impressive, especially the self-serve meat sauce noodles — so flavorful I ended up eating two bowls! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My only minor note is that the pillows were a bit too high for my taste, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Everything else was excellent — clean, comfortable, well-located, and great value. Definitely planning to return.

My room, on the 19th floor, had an incredible view of Dalian Harbor—so peaceful and scenic. If you want to head to the beach, it’s just a short walk under ten minutes away. While there aren’t as many seagulls as at Xinghai Square, the trade-off is fewer crowds and a much more relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect for travelers who value quiet and comfort over hustle and bustle. Definitely worth a stay!

While walking to the subway can be chilly this time of year, I’d recommend arranging a ride instead. But honestly, it’s not just about the location or price—the genuine hospitality from the owner made all the difference. Their kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. I already know I’ll be back. This place has earned a permanent spot in my travel memories.
