We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian, and I can confidently say it was one of the best kid-friendly hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The children’s themed room was a hit—colorful, playful, and packed with fun details that instantly delighted our little ones. From themed toiletries to small toys, every touch showed genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids were entertained for hours, thanks to the excellent in-house play areas—perfect for burning off energy without any stress. As adults, we also appreciated the beautifully maintained indoor pool with clear, warm water—ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service truly stood out too: special thanks to Yina for her warm, attentive hospitality, always ready to help; and the housekeeping staff who kept the room spotless and welcoming. The location is fantastic—close to the waterfront but still convenient for city exploration. With top-tier amenities, thoughtful family services, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this hotel lives up to its five-star reputation. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to Dalian with the kids.

The pool water temperature was just right, and the hot tub was a real treat for unwinding after a long day. I especially want to commend the front desk staff, Xu Qingsong from the pool and sauna area, and swimming instructor Bao Xin—their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. From the ambiance to the service, every aspect felt premium. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalian.

We arrived in Dalian early in the morning after a ferry ride from Weihai with our young child, landing at 5:00 AM. Since our little one needed an early check-in and most hotels required midday check-in, we were struggling to find a place until we reached out through the platform. The hotel was incredibly accommodating—after confirming availability, they arranged for housekeeping to prepare the room as soon as possible and even called us around 7:30 AM to let us know we could check in right away. The staff’s flexibility made our arrival so much smoother. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the hills from the window—perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The location is fantastic: close to public transit, restaurants, and attractions. We easily explored the city within hours of arriving. Everything was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back—this is one of the best stays we’ve had in Dalian.

Two elevators mean no waiting, and each room has its own fast, reliable Wi-Fi—perfect for gaming without lag. Bathroom amenities were thoughtfully provided, including a cute kid-sized toothbrush, and the room came with a lovely set of teaware and fragrant tea leaves that I really enjoyed.
