It was raining when we left, and he kindly walked us to our taxi, holding an umbrella the whole way. That small act of care truly made our experience memorable. On the other hand, one of the younger female front desk staff seemed less welcoming—when we asked if we could pick up yukata in the lobby, she said they were already in the room, but we never found any. After checking with other guests, we learned the yukata are indeed meant to be collected at the front desk. A simple miscommunication, but something worth clarifying for future visitors. You can see the train station right from the window, making travel super convenient—especially with the second-floor skywalk connecting directly to the station. No need to worry about the weather when heading out. There's a 7-Eleven on the ground floor, and just a 2-minute walk brings you to cozy cafes and a local bakery for breakfast or an afternoon treat. The bus to Todai-ji Temple is located on the opposite side of the station plaza, so it’s easy to access.
