We've stayed at Taj Castle A Boutique Homestay for three years in a row — and every visit feels like coming home. The property is tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, yet it's just a short ride from all the major attractions. Our host, Faiz, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — he makes you feel right at ease from the moment you arrive. There’s a real homely vibe here, with thoughtful touches that show how much care goes into each guest’s experience. The homemade meals are delicious and a true highlight. Faiz is always ready to help — whether it’s arranging a pickup from the bus station, renting a sari, setting up henna art, or taking you to trusted local shops where you can find affordable, high-quality leather goods like shoes, bags, and belts. This place has become our go-to in Agra, and we’ll definitely be back again soon.

I had a wonderful stay at Capital O 41218 Hotel Nouva in Agra, and I can't recommend this place enough. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and offered great tips on what to see and do around the city. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious and well-balanced, making it a perfect start to my day. Special thanks to Mohit, the server, who went above and beyond to assist me with local recommendations and travel advice. I was brought here by my guide for breakfast, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Great value, convenient location, and warm hospitality make this hotel a standout choice in Agra.

I actually think this place deserves a 3.5-star rating. On the bright side, it’s exceptionally clean and located in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from both the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal—perfect for exploring the city’s highlights. The young staff were genuinely eager to please, which was nice to see, but they’re still learning the ropes when it comes to hospitality. For example, the wardrobe had only one hanger, and there’s no kettle—something that would’ve been helpful since there aren’t any shops nearby. My room rate included breakfast, and there was a menu in the room, so I was really looking forward to trying an authentic Indian option. But the next morning, I wasn’t given any choice—I was just handed a basic omelette and toast, so I didn’t even bother going back. It’s clear they’re on the right track, but a little more attention to guest needs—like offering variety at breakfast or including small conveniences like a kettle—would make a big difference. With a few tweaks, this could easily become a solid 4-star experience. Overall, it’s a good value stay with great potential.

We didn’t stay overnight, but had dinner at the restaurant located on a beautifully maintained rooftop with an incredible view of the Taj Mahal. The ambiance was exceptional—serene, well-designed, and truly special. The food was delicious and surprisingly affordable for the quality, standing out even among other restaurants in Agra. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. It’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the city. If you’re visiting Agra, whether just for a meal or planning to stay, this place is definitely worth a visit—great value, great views, and a memorable atmosphere.

This place completely blew me away—same price as my stays in Mumbai and New Delhi, but hands down the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Slept like a baby, and being so close to the Taj Mahal is perfect for catching sunrise. The rooftop view is absolutely stunning, and it's completely free with no hidden fees. Just a heads-up: don't eat breakfast up there—there are tons of monkeys that will snatch your food in seconds! Still, the experience was flawless. Amazing location, top-tier cleanliness, and unbeatable value. Definitely recommend this gem!

It’s rare to find such a peaceful, thoughtfully crafted space. We couldn’t recommend Garden Villa Home Stay more—it’s truly one of the best experiences we’ve had in Agra.

Staying at this homestay in September was an unforgettable experience. The host, Ali, is simply amazing—warm, incredibly kind, and highly professional. The room was beautifully decorated with great taste and spotlessly clean; I truly didn’t want to leave. I wish I had stayed longer so I could have tried the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by his wife—definitely a must-try on my next visit! What made it even more special was how Ali kept sharing stunning photos of the flowers on his lovely terrace. It felt like being part of a quiet, peaceful home away from home. If you're visiting Agra, this place is a gem—exceptional hospitality, serene atmosphere, and genuine warmth. I’ll be back!

Breakfast was surprisingly good—fresh, well-prepared, and offered a decent variety. However, the lack of housekeeping throughout our entire stay was disappointing. We never had clean towels, fresh linens, or even basic tidying up, which made the experience feel less than hygienic. If the staff improved their cleaning routine, this hotel could be a solid choice for budget-conscious visitors who prioritize location and value over luxury. As it stands, it’s a decent option if you’re not too particular about cleanliness.

Special shoutout to Arun and Himanshu—they were absolutely amazing, always helpful and friendly. Sanjeev also went above and beyond to assist us. The whole team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. From comfort to hospitality, everything was top-notch. If you're visiting Agra, this hotel is definitely a strong choice. Staying at Hotel Kant Palace was an absolute delight—just $40 per night (INR 2,500), and I can’t believe the value we got. We checked in on October 2nd, which happened to be a national holiday in India with a long weekend, so most hotels were packed and prices skyrocketed to INR 4,500. Yet this place held steady on their regular rate, took our booking over the phone without any hassle, and even skipped the security deposit at check-in—what a relief! Massey and Kuldeep were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished—photos don’t do it justice. If you're visiting Agra and want a comfortable, affordable, and genuinely warm experience, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.
