My stay at Tajview Agra was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal for exploring Agra. What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff—so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I especially loved the two resident dogs, Max and Maya—they’re adorable and added a special charm to the hotel. The rooftop restaurant, while pricey (a friend’s rice dish cost $17 and tasted just okay), didn’t overshadow the overall great experience. Given the quality of service and ambiance, it’s still worth it. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Agra.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, though some facilities felt a bit dated, which is expected for a property with history. Dining in the garden area was unique—the view of playful monkeys added charm and authenticity to the experience. However, service was painfully slow. It took nearly an hour and a half to finish our meal, with long gaps between courses—up to 15 minutes at times. That said, the front desk staff stood out as incredibly friendly and helpful, making up for the restaurant delays. Overall, despite the slow dining service, the hotel’s prime location and warm hospitality make it a strong recommendation for travelers who value proximity to the Taj Mahal and a genuine local feel.

The room was beautifully decorated with great taste and spotlessly clean; I truly didn’t want to leave. I wish I had stayed longer so I could have tried the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by his wife—definitely a must-try on my next visit! What made it even more special was how Ali kept sharing stunning photos of the flowers on his lovely terrace. It felt like being part of a quiet, peaceful home away from home. Special shoutout to Arun and Himanshu—they were absolutely amazing, always helpful and friendly. Sanjeev also went above and beyond to assist us. The whole team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. From comfort to hospitality, everything was top-notch. If you're visiting Agra, this hotel is definitely a strong choice. We’ll definitely come back.

On the bright side, it’s exceptionally clean and located in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from both the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal—perfect for exploring the city’s highlights. The young staff were genuinely eager to please, which was nice to see, but they’re still learning the ropes when it comes to hospitality. For example, the wardrobe had only one hanger, and there’s no kettle—something that would’ve been helpful since there aren’t any shops nearby. My room rate included breakfast, and there was a menu in the room, so I was really looking forward to trying an authentic Indian option. But the next morning, I wasn’t given any choice—I was just handed a basic omelette and toast, so I didn’t even bother going back. It’s clear they’re on the right track, but a little more attention to guest needs—like offering variety at breakfast or including small conveniences like a kettle—would make a big difference. With a few tweaks, this could easily become a solid 4-star experience. Overall, it’s a good value stay with great potential.

We checked in on October 2nd, which happened to be a national holiday in India with a long weekend, so most hotels were packed and prices skyrocketed to INR 4,500. Yet this place held steady on their regular rate, took our booking over the phone without any hassle, and even skipped the security deposit at check-in—what a relief! Massey and Kuldeep were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished—photos don’t do it justice. If you're visiting Agra and want a comfortable, affordable, and genuinely warm experience, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back.
