We stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera for six nights at the end of August, and overall it was a fantastic experience. The hotel has a nice vibe, though it's not brand new—some mirrors on the floors show slight rust, likely due to the humid climate, but it doesn't detract from the comfort or atmosphere. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, speaking fluent English, and one lady even spoke Russian—super helpful when arranging transportation. We booked taxis through the hotel, and unlike street hails where drivers often overcharge, we were charged exactly what was expected. A trip to Sultan Ahmet Mosque cost only around 160–170 Turkish lira (roughly 350 RUB), which is incredibly affordable compared to other options. The rooftop restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views of Istanbul, and the large lounge area with sofas and tables makes it perfect for relaxing with coffee and a cigarette. While the rooms don’t have balconies, they’re spotless, and the bedding is top-notch—luxurious pillows, high-quality mattress, and crisp linens that made for an excellent night’s sleep. Most guests are international travelers, giving the place a cosmopolitan feel. Breakfast was solid with a good variety of options, though we never saw meat served—which might be a downside for some. But there are plenty of affordable, tasty cafes right outside the hotel, catering to every taste. All in all, this was one of the best stays I’ve had in Istanbul, especially given the location, service, and value.

The spacious suite features a large bed in the main bedroom, and the living area has a sofa that converts into another full-sized bed—perfect for me and my 20-year-old son. Both rooms have a connecting door, so privacy is easy to maintain without feeling cramped. Breakfast is included, served from 8 to 10:30 AM—essentially a full brunch that saved us time and money on lunch. The breakfast restaurant is located on the fifth floor, offering stunning views of the Bosphorus; dining there at sunset was unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—right next to a lively street filled with cafes and restaurants, and just a short walk away from Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia. I also booked the sunset cruise through the hotel, and it was an absolute highlight. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul.

The housekeeping crew did an exceptional job; every time we returned to our room, it was spotless and freshly made up. Breakfast was a highlight—a generous buffet with a nice variety of options. One small suggestion for improvement: since we stayed on the 4th floor, it got quite warm during the day, so adding a few more air conditioning units could help. That said, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district. Within minutes, you’re walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. We especially loved enjoying breakfast on the top floor, where the view of the mosque framed perfectly through the window. The staff were consistently cheerful, always ready with drinks while you waited. If you're looking for a central, welcoming, and beautifully managed hotel with incredible views and hospitality, this place is a must-visit.

Stayed here twice and couldn’t be happier. The room was spacious with a great layout, and the staff went above and beyond—so friendly and helpful. On my second visit, I was upgraded to a better room and treated to a delicious complimentary dessert that actually tasted better than what you’d find at a local shop! The only minor downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the metro station—about 8 to 10 minutes—but honestly, it’s totally manageable. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and full of charm, with plenty of cafes and local spots nearby. A short ride or a quick taxi gets you anywhere you need to go. Overall, an excellent value and a truly enjoyable stay—I’ll definitely come back.

Also, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was quite weak, which made streaming or video calls a bit frustrating. Still, these minor drawbacks didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast was generous and varied, offering plenty of options to suit different tastes. Plus, Carrefour is literally right around the corner, so grabbing essentials or snacks is a breeze. Clean rooms, friendly service, and great value—all reasons why I’d definitely stay here again.
