The lobby is on the third floor, and having luggage delivered straight to your room upon arrival was such a thoughtful touch. My room had a warm red palette paired with bamboo accents and herringbone wood flooring—very much rooted in Fujian style while still feeling luxurious and modern. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a complimentary minibar and fresh welcome fruit, and the Happy Hour offering a variety of salads, snacks, fruits, and local delicacies was a real highlight. I upgraded my room, and over three days, the service remained consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. We arrived on a rainy day and were pleasantly surprised when the host upgraded us to a better room for free—since another guest had canceled their booking. On a sunny day, sitting in the backyard with a cup of tea would be absolutely ideal. The room itself was spotless and beautifully designed with a minimalist, modern touch. Everything you’d need was provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, towels, bath sheets, hairdryer, electric kettle—all thoughtfully included. The water heater delivered strong, consistent hot water, making showers very comfortable. We even got plastic slippers for use in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept like babies. Even though it was raining during our stay, lying in bed listening to the gentle sound of rain tapping against the balcony window was oddly peaceful. There were few other guests around, so the place felt quiet and intimate. While the property isn’t right next to a metro station, getting there by taxi or bus was easy and convenient. Unfortunately, we couldn’t explore the neighborhood due to the weather, but I’ll definitely come back if I visit Xiamen again. This place offers an unbeatable mix of comfort, charm, and value—highly recommend!

We stayed here as a family, and we were thoroughly impressed! The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the metro, quiet yet convenient, and surrounded by great local spots. Even though it's not brand new, the upkeep is excellent: clean rooms, well-maintained common areas, and a nice overall vibe that feels upscale for the price. We didn’t need to rely on rideshares—we could easily hail a cab right outside the door to get anywhere in town. The neighborhood is fantastic for food lovers: there’s a wide variety of eateries nearby. I especially recommend Wu Zai Tian Snack Shop—it’s a local favorite with authentic flavors. And yes, we finally got to try the famous balang (sea slug) jelly again, which was a nostalgic treat after years of missing it. If you're visiting Xiamen with kids or family, this hotel is a top pick!
