Xiamen Yujin Hotel (Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Bashi)
Staying at Xiamen Yujin Hotel was an absolute delight. Located just steps away from Shilu Middle School and Xiamen Senior University, the hotel sits in a quiet corner yet is incredibly convenient—within minutes of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Lujiang Road, and Pinghai Wharf. It’s the perfect balance of urban access and peaceful retreat. The lobby is spotless and thoughtfully designed, while the room itself felt clean, cozy, and well-maintained—every detail shows care. Staff were warm, professional, and attentive. If you're traveling with kids, they’re very thorough with check-in documentation, which gives peace of mind about safety. The team responds quickly to requests, and it was a real treat to see the owner and manager personally checking on operations—clearly, this place runs on both strict standards and genuine hospitality. Our room included breakfast, and wow—what a spread! Fresh eggs, milk, soy milk, youtiao, congee, buns, dumplings, fresh fruits, and veggies—all served hygienically and tasted amazing. Chef Wu even greeted guests personally with a smile, making the morning meal feel special. In-room amenities were excellent: dual shower heads for adjustable water pressure (huge bonus for a relaxing bath!), complimentary tea bags and instant coffee, plus a high-quality automatic coffee machine in the lobby—perfect for caffeine lovers. They also offer little snacks, which is such a thoughtful touch. Overall, this stay was truly memorable. Comfortable, welcoming, and full of little details that make all the difference. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Xiamen—and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a great experience in the heart of the city.
