This stay at Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza completely exceeded my expectations—truly a 10 out of 10 experience. The room was spacious and bright, with a seamless smart control system that made everything effortless. As someone who travels frequently for work, the ergonomic chair and LED reading lights were a game-changer—perfect for unwinding after long flights. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, instantly melting away any travel fatigue. Hot water in the bathroom came on instantly, and the toiletries were from the lovely Petrov brand—subtle fragrance, high quality, and such a nice touch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and I appreciated the free self-service laundry area. Even the delivery robot added a fun, futuristic vibe to the stay. Breakfast at the third-floor dining hall was an absolute highlight—the space features a unique Tulou-inspired design, and the breakfast spread was impressive: endless options, including local favorites like Sha Cha Noodles and coconut cakes, all fresh, tasty, and satisfying. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I felt welcomed. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and super efficient—check-in and check-out were quick, and they went the extra mile to answer questions about nearby attractions and transit. When I had a last-minute request during my stay, a team member promptly stepped in without hesitation. Even after checking out, I received a thoughtful follow-up message—plus, getting a missing invoice processed across cities was handled smoothly and fast. That level of care truly makes you feel valued. Despite being nestled in a quiet residential area, the hotel remained peaceful and undisturbed by noise. The interior design cleverly blends Fujian Tulou architectural elements with modern elegance—every public space is immaculate, clean, and airy, with no lingering odors. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to the metro station, making access to major sights and shopping districts effortless. And with great seafood spots and restaurants right outside, finding good food is never an issue. This place checks every box—comfort, convenience, charm, and service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xiamen.
