I stayed at Veriu Green Square during my solo trip to Sydney, and I was really impressed. The hotel is just a 20-minute ride from the airport—super convenient for early arrivals or late departures. The room was spotless, quiet, and well-maintained, making it a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. Located in a calm neighborhood, it’s also close to a supermarket, so grabbing essentials or snacks was easy. Everything about the stay felt seamless and thoughtful. I’d definitely book here again if I ever come back to Sydney—highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

This is hands down the best place I've stayed in Sydney among the three hotels and apartments I've tried. The location is unbeatable—Broadway is just a 5-minute walk away, with Coles supermarket, a variety of restaurants, a lively food street, Kmart, and Target all within easy reach. Getting to the airport takes about 20 minutes, and it's also very convenient for those visiting or studying at the University of Sydney—just a short stroll from the door. Cleanliness is top-notch: kitchenware, bedding, towels—all spotless and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping made a big difference compared to other rentals where cleaning only happened every couple of days. Everything is thoughtfully provided, modern, and comfortable. If you're looking for a hassle-free, central, and clean stay in Sydney, this is absolutely the one to book.

Staying at Veriu Randwick was a fantastic experience, especially if you're here with kids attending UNSW. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk or quick transit ride to campus. The room itself is spacious and well-designed, featuring a private balcony perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. I loved that it came with a fully functional kitchenette, which made preparing meals easy and cost-effective. There are large supermarkets nearby, so stocking up on groceries was hassle-free. Plus, the hotel is just steps away from Conjee Beach—ideal for a relaxing stroll or a seaside escape. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully planned, and the overall value was outstanding. I’d definitely recommend it for families or students looking for comfort, convenience, and a home-like atmosphere.

Staying at Veriu Camperdown was an absolute delight. Located right across from the University of Sydney, it’s in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood despite being so close to everything. Within walking distance, you’ll find supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants—perfect for grabbing essentials or enjoying a meal without having to travel far. The hotel is also well-connected by bus routes that go straight to all major parts of Sydney, making getting around effortless. The apartment-style room is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen that made preparing simple meals a breeze. I loved the comfort of the bed and the peaceful atmosphere. From start to finish, the experience was excellent—clean, convenient, and incredibly well-located. Highly recommend this gem for students, travelers, or anyone looking for a smart, comfortable base in Sydney.

Staying here was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Mascot Station and multiple bus stops, making it super easy to explore Sydney or head to the airport. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern touches throughout. I loved the king-sized bed—it was incredibly comfortable, and the rain shower in the bathroom was a real treat after a long day. The staff at the front desk were genuinely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. It’s clear they take pride in their service. For a seamless, convenient, and relaxing stay in Sydney, this place really delivers. Highly recommend!

The room was spotlessly clean and immediately made me feel at home. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the very beginning—they gave me a detailed overview of local attractions, public transport options, and even handed me a personalized city guide. I appreciated the warm welcome and genuine care they showed. Located just a short walk from Coogee Beach, it’s perfect for morning swims or relaxing with the sound of waves. The hostel is quiet, secure, and well-maintained, offering excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Centennial Park Lodge and was really disappointed—there are additional weekly fees on top of the rent ($200), which felt like a scam, especially for students and budget travelers. The extra charges weren't clearly communicated upfront, so make sure to read your lease agreement carefully before signing. In my opinion, it's better to walk away than to end up with unexpected costs. Don’t let this happen to you—double-check everything first.

Staying at Mrs Banks Hotel in Paddington was such a delightful experience. The location is perfect—quiet and cozy, yet just a short walk from the city center and all the local amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The room was simple but clean and well-maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a day exploring Sydney. I especially appreciated how close we were to cafes, shops, and public transport—everything you’d want for a comfortable and convenient stay. A hidden gem in a great neighborhood, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed, authentic vibe without sacrificing convenience.

Stayed at Sydney Park Hotel for two weekend visits in March 2024 while traveling to friends in the Blue Mountains, recommended by some locals who used to live in Sydney. Check-in was smooth and welcoming—staff seemed to know exactly why we were there (maybe it was the big suitcases?). We booked a King room for extra space, and loved the generous closet area and room for luggage. Over two stays, we were assigned different but similarly sized rooms—Room 3, a corner unit facing King Street/Logan Lane, and Room 4, which overlooked St Peters train station. Room 3 had great cross breezes when all three windows were open, though it did face a busy intersection with more street noise. Room 4 was just as spacious and slightly quieter, with a view of the train line. Both rooms offered a real sense of being in the heart of the city—traffic hum and train rumble clearly audible when windows were open. Thankfully, earplugs were provided in both rooms, which helped us sleep well despite the urban buzz. If you're very noise-sensitive, another hotel might be better suited. But for us, it wasn’t an issue. Transport couldn’t be easier—St Peters Station is literally across Lord Street, just a few meters from the entrance. For two people coming from SYD Airport, an Uber ($22 total) was actually cheaper than taking the train ($19 each). And bonus: direct bookings come with a nice discount, which is common now with independently operated hotels worldwide. Definitely worth contacting them directly via email or phone to beat any online rate. Overall, a solid choice for convenience, comfort, and value.

I chose a ground-floor room because I wanted air conditioning, but the space was quite compact and the view from the curtains just showed the parking lot—definitely not ideal. This is the first Ibis Budget property I’ve stayed at where the experience felt underwhelming. The toilet didn’t have a lid, the shower area lacked proper ventilation so it stayed damp after use, and water pressure was extremely low—taking a shower felt like waiting for a trickle. Also, the bathroom faucet made an annoying high-pitched noise as soon as it was turned on. While the location is convenient for public transport, these issues really dragged down the overall value. It’s disappointing for a brand that usually offers solid basics. Not something I’d book again without significant improvements.

I was in need of a last-minute place to stay for the night, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice. Atelier Serviced Apartments is perfectly located—just a short walk from the city center and close to public transit, making it easy to explore Sydney without hassle. The apartment itself is compact but thoughtfully designed, with a cozy, modern vibe that feels welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchenette has everything you’d need for a quick meal or coffee. It’s rare to find such a well-priced, stylish, and convenient option in a busy city like Sydney. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit—highly recommend!

Staying at Little Coogee Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The property is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with a great balance between privacy and community vibes. I stayed in a private room, which was cozy and spotless, but still had easy access to the shared kitchen—fully equipped, tidy, and perfect for grabbing a quick meal or cooking something up. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from the beach and local cafes, making it ideal for exploring Sydney’s southern shores. Staff were welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. I only stayed two nights, but honestly, I could’ve easily extended my stay if time allowed. Highly recommend this gem for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and a relaxed atmosphere.
