Hilton Los Angeles-Universal City
Staying at the Hilton Los Angeles-Universal City was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel is just a short 10-minute walk from Universal Studios, and while there’s also a shuttle service available, walking is quick and convenient. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying—and dinner at the on-site café was equally enjoyable. That said, I was surprised by the $20 fee to use the microwave in the room. It felt a bit unexpected, almost as if they’re discouraging guests from bringing in their own food and pushing them toward dining at the hotel’s restaurant instead. Still, that minor downside doesn’t take away from the overall quality. The hotel feels safe, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a family vacation. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you're visiting Universal Studios, this is definitely one of the best places to stay, and despite the microwave charge, we’d stay here again without hesitation.

This was my third stay at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, and it didn’t disappoint—everything is still top-notch. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and a gentleman named Mr. Li who speaks Chinese helped me out with great care and professionalism. The location couldn’t be better—just a 15-minute walk to Universal Studios, or you can hop on the complimentary shuttle right outside the hotel entrance for a direct ride to the park gate. Saves so much time and energy! The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Free coffee and tea were available, plus two bottles of water daily—very thoughtful. While the toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers) weren’t left in the room, they’re high quality and delivered promptly when requested via phone. The ground-floor buffet breakfast was excellent—lots of fresh options including oatmeal, eggs, bread, bacon, beef patties, milk, and coffee. It’s all delicious and well-prepared, especially for $34 per person. We stayed for three days during a family trip, and the kids had a blast. The only minor issue? On the first day, we never put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign, but housekeeping never came by. The trash bin was overflowing, and I had to go down to front desk to request someone to take it out. That said, this was an isolated case. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and convenience are outstanding. I’ll definitely book here again next time I visit Universal Studios.

The hotel itself is brand new with modern decor and clean, well-maintained facilities. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully updated. Cleanliness was excellent—no complaints there. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. Whether you're here for entertainment, sightseeing, or just a comfortable base in LA, this hotel delivers on every front. Highly recommended for travelers who value convenience, quality, and a great vibe.

Public transit access is super convenient if you're avoiding traffic. Parking is $38 per day, which is on the higher side, but totally worth it for the prime spot and overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the energy and creativity of LA. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. Definitely planning to come back!

Their warm hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. If you're looking for a stylish, convenient, and well-run hotel in Los Angeles, Cara is a top choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Magic Castle Hotel for two nights to catch a Dodgers game and visit Universal Studios. The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the nearest subway station, making everything super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. I especially appreciated the complimentary coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day—great for travelers on the go. While I was traveling solo, I noticed many families staying here too, so it’s clearly a great choice for all kinds of guests. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed with thoughtful touches. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. From the warm hospitality to the excellent location, this hotel is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hollywood Walk of Fame
This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard makes exploring the area so convenient. Parking is manageable, and taxis are readily available. It’s also very close to Universal Studios, which is a huge plus for those planning to visit. Just note that housekeeping needs to be requested in advance. The Indian cleaning staff member is incredibly kind and thorough—the room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or groceries. I brought a small pot to make tea and coffee, which made self-catering easy and fun. One thing to mention: there’s a small group of homeless individuals who often stay near the entrance. I try to leave some food each night, and if you’re staying here, please be respectful and understanding—they’re part of the neighborhood too. A little kindness goes a long way.

The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Hollywood, steps away from all the action. The café right on the ground floor serves delicious food and chilled beer, perfect for a refreshing drink after a long day exploring. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff who go the extra mile. It’s an unbeatable value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in LA.

The apartment was spotless and beautifully designed—modern, cozy, and very well-maintained. It’s perfectly located just a short walk from the Walk of Fame, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The only minor downside was hearing footsteps overhead late at night, but that’s something beyond the property’s control and definitely not the owner’s fault. Despite that, the overall experience was outstanding—great value, excellent comfort, and a fantastic base for exploring LA. I’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Staying at Fenix Hotel Hollywood was a solid experience overall. While most hotels in the U.S. don’t provide slippers—so I regretted not bringing my own—the real highlight here is having a washer and dryer right in the room. That’s a game-changer when traveling, especially for longer stays or if you need to freshen up your clothes. The location is excellent—just about 200 meters from the Walk of Fame, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions on foot or by public transit. However, I should mention that the area isn’t very safe at night, so we kept both front and back doors locked throughout our stay. It’s not ideal for late-night strolls, but the convenience and central spot make up for it. If you value practicality, good access, and a comfortable base in Hollywood, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Our first night in Hollywood was absolutely unforgettable at this incredible hotel. My wife and I had an amazing time exploring the area, especially enjoying the Reggae Festival at the Hollywood Bowl—just a short walk from the property. The vibe was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and our spacious room offered just the right mix of comfort and style. We wrapped up the evening relaxing in the room, soaking in the atmosphere. From start to finish, everything felt seamless and luxurious. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we’re already planning our return visit.
