I’ve stayed at Windsor Plaza Hotel for three consecutive Christmas seasons in Ho Chi Minh City, and it’s become my go-to choice. The location is fantastic—right across from Ben Thanh Market, so shopping for local snacks or souvenirs is super easy. Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the front door, which is super convenient when you’re tired or want a late-night snack. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making check-in and daily interactions a breeze. The room is spacious and well-designed, with plenty of room to move around—definitely more than expected for the price. It’s such a great value for money compared to other hotels in the area. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip. This hotel has truly become part of my Christmas tradition in Ho Chi Minh City.

My family member with allergies didn’t have any issues, which was a big relief. But the real standout? The service. From the moment we arrived, staff went above and beyond. Vincent at reception handled everything—from currency exchange and water delivery to helping us track down Grab food orders—with patience and genuine warmth, even when I know I might’ve been a bit of a hassle. Other team members were equally professional, fluent in English, and always ready to assist. What really impressed me was the dedicated staff at the entrance—they opened doors, checked seats for forgotten items, and responded instantly—within seconds of touching luggage, they were already taking it over. Even when I pulled out my phone to take a selfie, someone was already asking if they could help. This level of attentiveness and foresight makes this hotel one of the best experiences I’ve had in Ho Chi Minh City. Everything was excellent overall—truly a 10/10 experience! Just one small note: at 10 a.m., a staff member came in to clean, but our check-out time wasn’t until 12 p.m. Since we were still in the room, it felt a bit awkward having someone come in before we left. It would be better if housekeeping could schedule cleaning after check-out to avoid any inconvenience. That said, the room was spotless, the location is fantastic, and the service was top-notch. Definitely coming back!

Even though it’s operated by a Chinese team, the hospitality feels natural and welcoming, not forced or foreign. Rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning runs so quietly you barely notice it. Everything you need is right there—great value, excellent service, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Saigon. It’s already on my list for a return trip.
