Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia
My stay at Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia was a major disappointment. From the moment I arrived, there were issues with check-in—apparently I had to register at the front desk, but the building is residential and security was extremely lax. The doorman wasn’t even checking IDs, letting almost anyone in. The main entrance door was broken and barely functional, which added to the unease. The elevator creaked like it was about to fall apart, and the hallway smelled strongly of garbage and something else unpleasant—really off-putting. By the time I got to my unit, I just wanted to collapse. Inside, the apartment looked okay at first glance, but the bathroom showed clear signs of poor cleaning—stains on the tiles, like it hadn’t been properly sanitized before my arrival. The balcony was littered with cigarette butts. I was exhausted and tried to sleep, but the noise from outside was unbearable: constant traffic, buses rumbling by, loud exhaust fans from nearby restaurants, and people shouting on the street well past 2 a.m. It was impossible to rest. I reached out for a refund, but received no response. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had—poor maintenance, weak security, and extreme noise pollution. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The place is stunning—modern, well-organized, and located steps away from everything you could possibly need. Right outside the door are endless restaurants, shopping centers, convenience stores, pharmacies—you name it. I walked to Costanera Center every day and loved how vibrant and accessible the area felt. The hotel has an on-site restaurant with a private entrance for guests—super convenient! They serve a traditional breakfast, plus a quick 'express coffee' option for early risers heading out on tours. That little touch made my mornings so much easier. I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Santiago—I had an incredible time and would highly recommend it to everyone.

It's completely unreasonable to charge a decent price without providing basic comfort like warmth, especially during colder months. I can see how locals might tolerate it for a short stay, but for travelers seeking comfort, this is a major downside. The lack of essential amenities makes it hard to recommend unless you're on a very tight budget.

The front desk staff (located in the same building) were exceptional—from the initial booking to our entire stay, their service was attentive and friendly. With 24-hour security, we felt completely secure throughout our visit. This place truly delivers on every level—great value, top-notch comfort, and unbeatable convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.
