Downstairs, there’s a great barbecue spot and local beer that’s worth trying. Don’t miss a visit to XIAOMAI ISLAND—go around 4 or 5 PM for the most stunning sunset views. My wife and I visited Zhan Shan Temple, just a 3-kilometer walk—about 30 minutes through peaceful streets with great views. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the large TV with surround sound made for a fantastic movie experience.
