Located right next to Central Station, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Glasgow, yet the rooms are so quiet when the windows are closed that you’d never know you’re in the middle of a busy transit hub. It’s peaceful, stylish, and offers incredible value—definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in the city. Would book again without hesitation.

I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance despite being right in the heart of Glasgow. The breakfast buffet was a highlight too, offering a great variety and high-quality food. Nearby, you’ll find Tesco and Lindl supermarkets within a 2–3 minute walk, so stocking up on groceries for a self-catering meal is a breeze. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchenette including a microwave, kettle, and diningware—ideal for preparing quick meals. There’s also a laundry room with washing and drying machines (pay-per-use at £3 each), which is convenient if you’re staying longer. The rooms are brand new and match the photos exactly—clean, modern, and well-maintained. One of the highlights? The nearby riverbank walk, just one block away—peaceful and scenic, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. While there are pubs close by, we had no noise issues thanks to double-glazed windows and the air conditioning. We were a group of four—one couple slept in the bedroom, the other two on the sofa bed in the living area—and space wasn’t an issue at all. Comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and a great central base in Glasgow.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, this Travelodge offers unbeatable convenience with countless pubs, cafés, and restaurants all within easy reach. Shopping options nearby cater to every taste and budget—perfect for a quick stroll after checking in. The only minor downside? I didn’t realize the room didn’t include a hairdryer until after my post-shower hair wash. Thankfully, it was a warm day, so my hair dried naturally without too much hassle. We even stopped by Bier Halle nearby—absolutely loved the vibe and selection of craft beers. Already planning our next stay here! Great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely recommend.

I chose this hotel based on a family recommendation, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Located right across from Cobblers Bridge, it’s perfectly positioned to explore everything the old town has to offer—walking distance to shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The welcome drink upon check-in was a thoughtful touch that set a warm tone for our stay. The staff were consistently professional, courteous, and attentive without being overbearing. Our third-floor room faced the old town, offering a charming view of the city’s character. The elevator worked smoothly, and the room was well-insulated—noise from the street didn’t carry in at all, even late into the night. The double glazing made a noticeable difference. Inside, the space was clean, well-presented, and thoughtfully designed: a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with a strong shower, ample wardrobe space, a safe, mini-fridge, and complimentary tea, coffee, and water. Breakfast was generous and varied—great quality and a real highlight. The only minor note is that the room felt quite warm during our stay; the air conditioning didn’t seem to be activated, possibly due to the season. Still, that didn’t dampen the overall experience. This is a top-tier choice in Glasgow, and I’d highly recommend booking here without hesitation.
