Sheraton Xiamen Hotel
Our New Year’s trip with my mom and grandmother was absolutely perfect. Since we were traveling with an 83-year-old, convenience and comfort were top priorities—especially easy access to public transit and rooms with two queen beds. After checking several options, the Sheraton Xiamen on Jiahua Road stood out as the ideal choice. It’s just a short walk from two metro stations, and there are bus stops nearby for easy access to various destinations. SM City Plaza is within walking distance—great for dining and shopping. Special thanks to Jerry for upgrading us to a quieter room at the end of the corridor; it was peaceful and noise-free, which made for excellent rest, especially for our elderly family members. Our booking included breakfast for two, but Jerry kindly arranged an extra breakfast for my grandmother—delicious and well-balanced, with authentic local flavors that changed slightly each day. The bathroom design was exceptional: spacious, functional, and completely leak-proof—a rare find! My mom and I were both truly impressed. This stay exceeded expectations in every way.

This stay at Cheermay Hotel in Xiamen Airport Wuyuanwan was absolutely fantastic. The front desk staff went above and beyond—so friendly and helpful, even upgraded my room without hesitation! I highly recommend the view room with its floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious private balcony. Perfect for a morning coffee, afternoon breeze, or just hanging out with laundry spread across the space. The bathroom is smartly designed with complete separation between the shower area and toilet—very clean and practical. Everything from bedding to amenities felt top-notch, and the breakfast buffet offered great variety and fresh quality. It’s rare to find such comfort and attention to detail in a hotel this close to the airport. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Xiamen!
Putian Hotel (Xiamen Mingfa Plaza)
Stayed at Putian Hotel (Xiamen Mingfa Plaza) and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding value for money. The room was surprisingly spacious—far bigger than expected for the price—and everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The new front desk staff member, Yu Ni, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even when we weren’t sure how to ask our questions, she patiently guided us through everything. Location is excellent too—just a short walk from Xiamen Railway Station and surrounded by great dining options. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xiamen!

While the elevator shows signs of age, it still functions smoothly without any issues. Staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful—exactly what you’d expect from a high-quality stay. For travelers visiting Xiamen for shopping, sightseeing, or business, this hotel offers great value and comfort. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to stay here again on my next trip.

I've stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been excellent. The room was spotless and incredibly clean—especially the bedding, which felt fresh and odor-free, making for a truly restful night's sleep. The host responded quickly and was very attentive to every request. Location is fantastic: just a short walk from Wuyuan Bay (about 700 meters), and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. It’s also super convenient for airport transfers. I highly recommend this place for travelers visiting Xiamen—it’s cozy, well-maintained, and offers great value. Definitely coming back!

The view from the room is breathtaking—direct sightlines of the bay and the bridge, whether during the day or at night. What truly stood out was the concert shuttle service; after the show, the driver even offered bottled water, and the vehicle had the artist’s songs playing in the background—a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience unforgettable. I was also impressed by the concierge team: one staff member kindly returned my charging power bank to the mall before I even checked in! Another team member, named Fugui Hua Kai, went above and beyond by personally arranging my transfers, hand-writing a sweet note, and leaving fresh fruit and dessert upon arrival. This level of care made my stay feel personal and special. If you're visiting Xiamen, this hotel should be at the top of your list—excellent service, stunning views, and an unforgettable experience.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient: just a 15-20 minute drive from Xiamen Railway Station, making travel easy by taxi. Plus, there’s a large shopping mall within a 15-minute walk—perfect for grabbing meals or doing some shopping without needing to go far. Public transport options are nearby, and everything feels accessible. With great service, a prime location, and excellent value, I’d definitely choose to stay here again if I’m ever back in Xiamen.
