Staying at Akeah Verdi Budapest was an unexpectedly delightful experience. The front desk staff were not only incredibly friendly but also stunningly beautiful—genuine smiles and professional service made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room itself was cozy and well-designed, with a perfectly sized bed and wonderfully comfortable pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. There was a faint smell of alcohol-based disinfectant in the hallway, which was noticeable but not bothersome. On our second morning, we experienced a brief power outage lasting a few hours, but the hotel team handled it promptly and communicated clearly, ensuring guests felt informed and reassured. Their professionalism shone through even during the inconvenience. Overall, the location is convenient, the atmosphere is warm, and the value for money is excellent. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation.

Staying at Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center was an absolute highlight of my trip to Budapest. The hotel is incredibly close to the train station—just a short walk away—yet it’s surprisingly quiet, making it perfect for a peaceful night’s rest after long travel days. I’ve traveled across Europe for over two weeks, and this was the only hotel with actual radiator heating, which made all the difference during the chilly winter months. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that felt like home. Breakfast was excellent—wide variety, including a dedicated Asian food section. While the kimchi soup might be a bit too bold for some palates, the effort to include diverse options was truly appreciated. Overall, the service, comfort, and thoughtful touches made this stay stand out. If you're visiting Budapest, especially in winter, this is definitely a top choice.

The location is excellent—just steps away from the metro, tram, and bus stops, making it super convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. A Lidl supermarket is right next door, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Breakfast is decent but lacks some cultural touches—no cheese or olives, which would have added more character. Some sausages seemed questionable in terms of ingredients, possibly containing pork, so those avoiding it should be cautious. Still, we stayed two nights and left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Would absolutely recommend and book here again—great value and a fantastic base for exploring Budapest.

Staying at Benczur Hotel was an absolute delight—far better than expected and incredibly good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic: abundant, delicious, and with a wide variety of options that kept us full throughout the day, even well into the afternoon. We arrived early, and despite not being check-in time yet, they let us in as early as 9 AM—super accommodating! They also offered currency exchange for Hungarian Forints, which was super helpful. The room was bright, clean, and spotless, with excellent natural light and a perfectly warm shower. It’s just a short walk to Heroes’ Square, and from there, exploring the city via Budapest’s historic yellow metro line (the first underground railway in Europe) was such a fun adventure. Everything about this stay was perfect—from location to service to comfort. Highly recommend this gem!

Staying at Ibis Budapest Heroes Square was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Even though I didn’t speak Hungarian, the front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful—despite the language barrier, they went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed. The location is unbeatable: just steps away from the metro and bus stops, making it easy to explore downtown Budapest and nearby attractions. And of course, Heroes’ Square is right outside the door—perfect for a morning stroll or a photo op in the afternoon sun. Great value, great service, and a prime spot for travelers who want convenience without compromising on comfort. Definitely my go-to choice for future visits to Budapest.

Staying at Corvin Center Suites in Budapest was an absolute delight. The hotel is just a 7- to 8-minute walk from the metro station, and right next to a large shopping complex—perfect for dining and browsing. I checked in at 10 a.m., and the spacious apartment-style room exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed, including a small kitchenette where I could prepare meals using groceries from the nearby supermarket. While housekeeping isn’t daily, fresh towels are readily available upon request—no hassle at all. The location, comfort, and convenience make this a standout choice for travelers who value independence and local vibes. Highly recommended.

Staying at SmartApart was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The modern, sleek design of the apartment instantly made me feel at home—clean, stylish, and well thought out. Booking online was seamless, and everything was clearly laid out with no confusion. I especially appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials—pots, pans, cutlery, and utensils—so I could cook my own meals without hassle. It’s great for travelers who want to save money while enjoying fresh, homemade food. The location is perfect: just a short walk to a supermarket and a bus stop, making it easy to get around the city. Public transport access is excellent, and it’s only a quick ride into downtown Budapest. The price point is incredibly competitive for the quality and convenience offered—definitely a top value. Communication was smooth too; English instructions were clear and helpful, so there was absolutely no language barrier. Overall, this apartment delivers on comfort, practicality, and affordability. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Budapest.

I stayed at Prater Residence Apartment for over a week, and overall it was an excellent choice considering the price. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk or quick metro ride to downtown Budapest, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. The apartment itself is spacious, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a functional kitchen that made self-catering easy and enjoyable. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Despite being in a residential area, the place felt quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. It’s rare to find such comfort and value in one package—this place truly delivers on both comfort and affordability. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest looking for a home-away-from-home experience.

I booked this property on the same day I arrived and immediately reached out to the host to confirm my arrival time—literally within minutes. Instead of a clear answer, I was left waiting for hours while being sent vague instructions about check-in procedures, including an online portal that didn’t even work. Despite knowing the system wouldn’t function right away, they refused to cancel my booking and insisted they were entitled to full payment. This was also the first time I’ve ever been asked to pay a deposit—higher than the total booking cost—though we never even got to that point. Throughout the entire ordeal, customer support only responded with generic, irrelevant templates, offering no real help. By the time I arrived at the property, I’d already wasted precious hours trying to resolve something that should’ve been simple. The lack of communication, poor responsiveness, and unwillingness to accommodate a last-minute situation made the experience frustrating and stressful. If you're looking for flexibility and genuine assistance, this isn’t the place. Not recommended.

The Elit Hotel is well located and convenient for getting around Budapest, especially with easy access to public transit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering good value for money. However, we arrived right on the check-in time as scheduled, but the room wasn’t ready yet—cleaning staff hadn’t finished, so we had to wait a bit before entering. Also, the daily key return and reissue system felt inconvenient, and the lack of a 24-hour front desk made things less smooth. While the hotel is solid overall, these small issues prevented it from being a perfect 5/5. Would still recommend it, but improvements in service flow would make a big difference.

Stayed at Fig Tree House during a family trip to support our niece competing in the World Junior Kickboxing Championships at Puskás Stadium. The location was perfect—quiet, clean, and just a short tram ride from all major attractions. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and having access to a shared kitchen made it easy to prepare meals on a budget. Public transportation is super convenient, with trams and buses running frequently throughout Budapest. This place offers incredible value for the price—well worth every penny. Highly recommend this gem for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a homely feel.

Located just a 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station in central Budapest, this hotel offers excellent access to public transport and is surrounded by convenient amenities like supermarkets and local restaurants. I stayed in a standard double room, which was much larger than expected—spacious and impeccably clean, with fresh linens and a well-maintained bathroom. The hot water worked consistently, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, perfect for working remotely. The front desk staff were genuinely helpful—they upgraded me to a room with a view without any extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, always arriving at the right time. The mattress offered just the right balance of firmness and comfort, and the room was so quiet that I slept through the night without disturbance. Overall, this was an outstanding stay with great value for money. I’d definitely return here on my next trip to Budapest.
