On our second night, my daughter wasn’t feeling well, and the front desk team stepped in immediately—helping us get medicine, warm porridge, and even carrying our luggage without being asked. Their kindness truly made a tough situation more manageable. Though we had to cut our trip short due to health concerns, it didn’t take away from how amazing this hotel was. Golden Spring Hotel
I’d heard about Golden Spring Hotel in Kunming and decided to check it out just because of a little serendipity. The overall experience was excellent—especially the front desk staff, who were friendly and helpful, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. There was one shift manager who didn’t quite meet expectations, but it didn’t take away from my honest 10/10 rating. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—48 RMB for such a generous, delicious spread. It’s easily the best breakfast I’ve had at any four-star hotel I’ve stayed at over the past two years. Several guests even commented on how great it was, and I totally agree. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Located near Nanping Pedestrian Street and Jiaosanqiao Metro Station, getting around the city is super convenient via subway. Great value, great location, and a truly enjoyable stay—I’ll definitely be back.
