The room itself is spacious at 70 square meters with a view of the pool, and stepping out onto the balcony gives you a stunning vista. It’s peaceful, elegant, and so relaxing. The hotel is just steps away from Xujiahui Cathedral and Xujiahui Library, with luxury shopping hubs like Hongkong Plaza and Meiluo City nearby. If you're heading to Shanghai Stadium or Sports Arena for a concert, it's only one stop on the metro—or even easier, a short walk or bike ride away. This A.T.HOUSE property has that modern art vibe I love. The second-floor afternoon tea lounge and late-night dining spot are both stylish and inviting. The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. Even at check-out, they handed me a lovely souvenir—a large record-shaped biscuit box that’s both cute and tasty. If there’s another concert in town, this will be my go-to hotel again.

We decided to check in a day early for our kid’s performance at the hotel’s banquet hall on New Year's Eve, avoiding potential traffic stress. From the moment we arrived, the front desk had already prepared our room—so thoughtful and efficient! The staff went above and beyond, even providing earplugs when asked. Our room on the 16th floor was spacious and well-designed with a business-friendly vibe—comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep, and a bathroom with clear separation between wet and dry areas, plus a relaxing bathtub. Since we had a late checkout due to the event, we were pleasantly surprised to get complimentary parking—no extra hassle. Breakfast and lunch were both enjoyed at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and consistent quality, while lunch was equally satisfying. Everything was smooth, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. This stay exceeded expectations—perfect for families or business travelers looking for comfort and reliability. Highly recommended.

But what truly made the experience memorable was the staff. From check-in to checkout, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Shasha, who went above and beyond by offering personalized travel tips and local recommendations. Her knowledge of hidden gems and must-try restaurants made my trip unforgettable. MGM Shanghai West Bund

Stayed at MGM Shanghai West Bund on January 1st, and despite the hotel being busy, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive 👍 While our room was delayed slightly, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade—what a treat! The view from the window was stunning, and my kids had an absolute blast exploring the space 🥳 This was my first visit to this property in eight years, having moved cities since last time, and it still managed to exceed expectations 💖 The front desk team—both the guys and girls—were so warm and professional, making us feel right at home 🌷 When we checked out, I casually mentioned how much my child enjoyed the stay, and they immediately handed us a little lion plushie as a sweet keepsake! That kind of thoughtful gesture truly made the trip unforgettable 🤩 It’s not just about the luxury—it’s the genuine care and attention that makes this hotel stand out. Yet despite being in a bustling area, the hotel offers a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The room I booked was the smallest option, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a freestanding soaking tub—a delightful bonus I didn’t expect (though I didn’t get to use it!). The location is unbeatable: directly facing Xujiahui Library and the Catholic Church, offering a peaceful morning view. Check-out was quick and smooth, and there’s a dedicated counter for luggage storage, which is super convenient. Overall, the service, ambiance, and attention to detail made this stay exceptional. Jinjiang Inn (Shanghai Caobao Road Metro Station)

I stayed at Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Caobao Road Metro Station, and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. The elevator was out of order, so I had to climb up to the third floor—very inconvenient, especially with luggage. Upon entering the room, I noticed a noticeable dip in the floor right by the door, nearly causing me to trip. The toilet lid was broken and wouldn’t snap back into place, which was quite frustrating. While there was no water outage during my stay, the shower pressure was extremely low—hardly any hot water flow. After checking other reviews, I saw multiple guests mentioning similar issues, confirming that these aren’t isolated incidents. The room condition and maintenance clearly need improvement. Despite being near the metro station, the overall value for money isn’t great. I’d recommend the hotel to reconsider its upkeep and guest experience.

Staying here for ten days was an absolute pleasure! The room was spotlessly clean, well-organized with smart layout and ample space—so comfortable and relaxing. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. There are also great indoor and outdoor lounging areas, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Located just under a 10-minute walk from the Chest Hospital, it's super convenient for medical visits. It’s only about 10 minutes by bike to Xujiahui and Wukang Mansion—ideal for exploring the city. With its excellent location, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful service, this place offers incredible value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

I was really impressed with this place — it exceeded my expectations in every way. I accidentally booked the wrong room type, which caused some inconvenience for the staff, but they handled it with incredible patience and kindness, never once showing frustration. The room itself is spacious and well-designed, with modern furnishings and everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Location-wise, it’s perfect — right in the heart of Xujiahui, just steps from a big shopping mall and two authentic local Shanghainese restaurants. I had a delicious meal at one of them, and the food was so good I could’ve stayed there all night! With its great value, friendly team, and unbeatable location, I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit Shanghai.
