Staying at Somerset Grandview Shenzhen was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Futian Station, making it super easy to get around the city via metro. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially Charlene and Lily at reception—they went above and beyond with their kindness and helpfulness. From local tips to smooth check-in, they made our stay feel personal and stress-free. The fitness center is spacious, well-equipped, and clean—perfect for staying active during our trip. The apartment itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed, including a fully functional kitchen. Everything about this place felt premium yet comfortable. There are plenty of trendy cafes and bars around, making it ideal for a casual night out or a relaxed morning coffee. The hotel itself has a cool, modern vibe with clean lines and stylish touches. Hot water in the bathroom worked perfectly, and the air conditioning kept things comfortable all night. Room cleanliness was excellent—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. One little highlight: the floor lighting makes moving around at night easy and safe. The only minor downside is that the hairdryer area and sink lights are a bit dim, which made makeup application slightly tricky. But overall, this place offers fantastic value, great convenience, and a fun urban feel. Definitely worth a stay if you're visiting Shenzhen.

The bathroom features a smart three-zone layout with excellent shower pressure and a high-tech toilet seat that felt like luxury. Breakfast included fresh handmade wontons, and the kind staff even offered an extra helping when they noticed how much I enjoyed them. Even the window-side plants were perfectly cared for, adding a touch of greenery and life to the space. I genuinely didn’t want to check out — this place feels like home. Definitely coming back.

Xipa Executive Apartment (Shenzhen Futian Convention and Exhibition Center)

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic—right next to the metro station, making it super convenient for travelers coming from Hong Kong West Kowloon. I took the train and only needed a few stops to reach Futian. There’s an amazing variety of dining options right downstairs, so you never have to go far for a meal. Just a short walk away is a Hema store, perfect for grabbing groceries or essentials. One thing I really appreciated was the room service delivery—when I ordered the Guangdong-exclusive version of Bawang Cha Ji through the hotel’s system, the delivery rider brought it straight to my door. It felt like a little taste of local culture, and it made the whole experience even more memorable.
