I stay at Hotel Plumm every time I visit Yokohama for work—about once every six months—and it never disappoints. This time, I went with the Chinese breakfast option, which was delicious and authentic. The room was spotless, well-designed, and very functional—perfect for both business and relaxation. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, making the stay super comfortable. It's one of those places that just feels right, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Yokohama.

This hotel is an absolute gem—perfectly located in the heart of Yokohama yet surprisingly peaceful. Just steps from major shopping destinations like Takashimaya and Sogo, and with easy access to Shibuya and Tokyo via subway (only a 300-meter walk), it’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The two restaurants on the second floor are fantastic—great quality, unique vibe, and definitely worth a visit. I also appreciated how close we were to a large supermarket, making it super convenient to grab fresh seafood for a quick meal. Everything about this stay was seamless: comfort, convenience, and value. Highly recommend this spot if you want a central yet relaxing base in Yokohama.

Staying at Hotel the Knot Yokohama was an absolute highlight of our trip to Yokohama. The location couldn’t be better—just a 6-minute walk from Yokohama West Exit, with the hotel’s backside buzzing with life. A quick 5-minute stroll gets you to Don Quijote and a 100% coffee shop, while the nearest major shopping destination, Takashimaya, is just around the corner. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible service from front desk staff, especially Ms. Kawakami. She went above and beyond to help us recover our lost passport and backpack by coordinating with the subway station—truly lifesaving! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with a calming vibe. Everything about this place—from convenience to hospitality—was top-notch. If you're visiting Yokohama, this hotel is a must-book.

I always book this hotel whenever I'm in Yokohama for business trips, and it never disappoints. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the train station, making commuting effortless. The room is compact but well-designed, maximizing space without sacrificing comfort. Breakfast is a highlight: a wide variety of options, both Western and Japanese-style, so there's something for everyone. I also appreciate the free self-service coffee available throughout the day—perfect for a morning boost. Plus, the front desk offers complimentary skincare products and toiletries, which is super handy when traveling light. It's a fantastic balance of value, convenience, and quality—definitely my go-to choice in Yokohama.

This is the only hotel in my entire trip that truly deserves a perfect 10/10 rating, and its location is simply unbeatable. I actually changed my entire Tokyo itinerary just to stay here—worth every penny. Special thanks to a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese; she helped me rearrange my room booking seamlessly during the Japanese New Year period when our preferred deluxe twin room was fully booked for two nights. We were temporarily moved to a standard twin room, then smoothly switched back—no stress at all. The hotel’s location is fantastic: right next to a FamilyMart, and it’s less than a 2-minute walk to both JR East Exit and Keikyu Line ticket gates. From here, you can easily reach most cities across the Kanto region. The station underground features a huge shopping arcade, and just behind the hotel is another major mall with everything from pharmacies and cosmetics to dining and shopping—everything you need is literally steps away. For first-time visitors, it's easy to get confused: if you exit through the JR Central Arcade gate, look for the sign pointing to 'East Exit,' then follow the path past a large mural on the wall. Take the escalator down, turn left, walk along the left side until you see the sign 'Kita Higashiguchi A.' Ride the elevator up, cross the small bridge, and there you are—FamilyMart and the hotel are right in front of you. Simple, clear, no confusion. This place offers incredible value and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.

I stayed here because of a concert event, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The staff at the lobby were all incredibly kind—when I was heading out to the venue, one of them even said, 'Have a great time, enjoy yourself!' with such a warm smile. It really made my day. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage, which was super convenient since I didn’t want to carry everything around. The location is perfect for events—it’s just a short ride away from the concert hall via public transit. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed for guests. If I ever have another show in Yokohama, I’ll definitely book here again. Highly recommend!

Dining options are also great; I enjoyed a meal at Sally's and even found a cozy dumpling shop right around the corner. It’s not in a remote area at all—safe, lively, and very accessible. What really stood out was how close it is to the airport, which made my travel experience stress-free. For the price and the convenience, this hotel offers incredible value. I’ll definitely be back.

Stayed on January 3rd, 2026 — the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s been a while since I’ve encountered such warm and genuine service; her smile and helpful attitude really made the check-in experience stand out. The hot spring bath is another highlight — spacious, clean, and relaxing with a great atmosphere. My only small note is that check-in needs to be completed before noon, so if you're arriving later, it might be tricky. Still, this minor detail doesn’t take away from the overall excellent value and hospitality. Super Hotel Shinyokohama delivers a memorable stay — I’d definitely return.
