This was easily the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with excellent soundproofing—finally, a good night's sleep without any disturbances! The breakfast spread was outstanding, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that were both delicious and wholesome. Staff were professional and attentive throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is that although there are five elevators, only one operates at peak times, leading to waits of about five minutes—slightly inconvenient, but completely overshadowed by how amazing everything else was. Overall, an exceptional experience with fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back.

I stay at Hotel Plumm every time I visit Yokohama for work—about once every six months—and it never disappoints. This time, I went with the Chinese breakfast option, which was delicious and authentic. The room was spotless, well-designed, and very functional—perfect for both business and relaxation. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, making the stay super comfortable. It's one of those places that just feels right, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Yokohama.

Staying at the Best Western Yokohama was an absolute pleasure. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so you can grab snacks or essentials anytime. Dining options are also great; I enjoyed a meal at Sally's and even found a cozy dumpling shop right around the corner. It’s not in a remote area at all—safe, lively, and very accessible. What really stood out was how close it is to the airport, which made my travel experience stress-free. For the price and the convenience, this hotel offers incredible value. I’ll definitely be back.

Stayed on January 3rd, 2026 — the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s been a while since I’ve encountered such warm and genuine service; her smile and helpful attitude really made the check-in experience stand out. The hot spring bath is another highlight — spacious, clean, and relaxing with a great atmosphere. My only small note is that check-in needs to be completed before noon, so if you're arriving later, it might be tricky. Still, this minor detail doesn’t take away from the overall excellent value and hospitality. Super Hotel Shinyokohama delivers a memorable stay — I’d definitely return.

This is already my fourth stay at this hotel in Yokohama Tsurumi, and I keep coming back because it's just so convenient and consistently satisfying. The location is perfect—easy access to Tokyo via train, and there are plenty of local eateries and shops nearby. When I visited last December, the lighting was a bit dim, but during my trips in February and April, the place had been freshly renovated with brighter, more inviting lights. This recent visit was just as enjoyable as before. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value for money—it’s no surprise I’ll be booking here again next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Even though I was staying overnight, the hotel provided everything I needed: comfortable loungewear, towels, and well-stocked toiletries—no need to pack anything extra. Just one thing to keep in mind: if you're planning a multi-night stay, you'll need to check out by 12 PM each day, so plan accordingly. Overall, this is a fantastic option for anyone attending events in the area. I’d definitely return for another visit, especially with how close it is to all the action.

The hallways on each floor are quite dimly lit, which made walking through them a bit uncomfortable and lacking in security. It would be great if the hotel could improve the lighting throughout the corridors. Despite that, the location is convenient—just a short subway ride from central Yokohama—and the value for money is solid for a quick stay. A small upgrade in lighting could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

This hotel is an absolute gem—perfectly located in the heart of Yokohama yet surprisingly peaceful. Just steps from major shopping destinations like Takashimaya and Sogo, and with easy access to Shibuya and Tokyo via subway (only a 300-meter walk), it’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The two restaurants on the second floor are fantastic—great quality, unique vibe, and definitely worth a visit. I also appreciated how close we were to a large supermarket, making it super convenient to grab fresh seafood for a quick meal. Everything about this stay was seamless: comfort, convenience, and value. Highly recommend this spot if you want a central yet relaxing base in Yokohama.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Higashiguchi
This is the only hotel in my entire trip that truly deserves a perfect 10/10 rating, and its location is simply unbeatable. I actually changed my entire Tokyo itinerary just to stay here—worth every penny. Special thanks to a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese; she helped me rearrange my room booking seamlessly during the Japanese New Year period when our preferred deluxe twin room was fully booked for two nights. We were temporarily moved to a standard twin room, then smoothly switched back—no stress at all. The hotel’s location is fantastic: right next to a FamilyMart, and it’s less than a 2-minute walk to both JR East Exit and Keikyu Line ticket gates. From here, you can easily reach most cities across the Kanto region. The station underground features a huge shopping arcade, and just behind the hotel is another major mall with everything from pharmacies and cosmetics to dining and shopping—everything you need is literally steps away. For first-time visitors, it's easy to get confused: if you exit through the JR Central Arcade gate, look for the sign pointing to 'East Exit,' then follow the path past a large mural on the wall. Take the escalator down, turn left, walk along the left side until you see the sign 'Kita Higashiguchi A.' Ride the elevator up, cross the small bridge, and there you are—FamilyMart and the hotel are right in front of you. Simple, clear, no confusion. This place offers incredible value and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at LiVEMAX Shinyokohama was a great experience overall. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Shinyokohama Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching the Shinkansen, JR lines, and Yokohama’s city subway—perfect for both local travel and day trips. Located in a newer district, it's surrounded by office buildings, so it feels lively yet not overcrowded. Across the street is Shinyokahama Park—a spacious green area with a small river, a large sports field, and several smaller courts. I enjoyed morning runs there; it’s peaceful, well-used, but never too crowded. Around the hotel, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets—everything you need within easy reach. The room was compact but spotless, modern, and well-maintained. Everything worked as expected, including the private bathroom. I didn’t get to try the microwave, but that’s a minor detail. With a special rate of 337 CNY per night through the platform, this was an excellent value for money. Highly recommend for travelers seeking comfort, location, and affordability.
