Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers
This was easily the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with excellent soundproofing—finally, a good night's sleep without any disturbances! The breakfast spread was outstanding, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that were both delicious and wholesome. Staff were professional and attentive throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is that although there are five elevators, only one operates at peak times, leading to waits of about five minutes—slightly inconvenient, but completely overshadowed by how amazing everything else was. Overall, an exceptional experience with fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back.
Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel
Staying at Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel felt like being in the heart of a bustling urban oasis. The hotel stands as the tallest building in Shin-Yokohama, and its rooftop bar offers one of the best views—directly facing Mount Fuji. On clear days, the distant silhouette of the iconic peak is simply breathtaking. The lobby connects seamlessly to Prince Peppe Mall, where you can easily access subway and JR stations, plus there’s a large drugstore and another shopping complex nearby with stores like Uniqlo, GU, an electronics store, sushi bars, Western restaurants, and even more dining options. Shopping and dining are all within walking distance. While the single room is compact, the spacious bathtub was a real highlight, and the window-side sofa area made it easy to store personal items. For families, upgrading to a larger twin room greatly improves comfort. And if you want to get closer to Fuji, just hop on a train for 30 minutes to Kamakura and walk down to the beach—the perfect photo spot. Plus, getting into Tokyo from Yokohama is super convenient. Overall, this hotel delivers great value and unforgettable experiences.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed—comfortable bed, good lighting, and modern amenities. One thing to note: toiletries like toothbrushes are available at the front desk on the second floor, but they weren’t accessible early in the morning—likely only restocked later in the day, so plan accordingly. Free coffee is served daily from 3 PM to 12 AM, perfect for late-night relaxation or working. On the third floor, there’s a fully functional laundry machine, microwave, and ice maker—super convenient for longer stays or travelers with kids. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of options including fresh bread, curry rice, potato salad, milk, yogurt, and three different soups. I especially loved the rich, savory soup—it added warmth to my morning. The only minor inconvenience was ongoing renovations affecting elevator access—only one elevator stops at the first floor—but the team managed it smoothly without disrupting our stay. Overall, the location, cleanliness, service, and value make this a top choice. I’d definitely come back.

This is already my fourth stay at this hotel in Yokohama Tsurumi, and I keep coming back because it's just so convenient and consistently satisfying. The location is perfect—easy access to Tokyo via train, and there are plenty of local eateries and shops nearby. When I visited last December, the lighting was a bit dim, but during my trips in February and April, the place had been freshly renovated with brighter, more inviting lights. This recent visit was just as enjoyable as before. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value for money—it’s no surprise I’ll be booking here again next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Even though I was staying overnight, the hotel provided everything I needed: comfortable loungewear, towels, and well-stocked toiletries—no need to pack anything extra. Just one thing to keep in mind: if you're planning a multi-night stay, you'll need to check out by 12 PM each day, so plan accordingly. Overall, this is a fantastic option for anyone attending events in the area. I’d definitely return for another visit, especially with how close it is to all the action.

It would be great if the hotel could improve the lighting throughout the corridors. Despite that, the location is convenient—just a short subway ride from central Yokohama—and the value for money is solid for a quick stay. A small upgrade in lighting could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

This hotel is an absolute gem—perfectly located in the heart of Yokohama yet surprisingly peaceful. Just steps from major shopping destinations like Takashimaya and Sogo, and with easy access to Shibuya and Tokyo via subway (only a 300-meter walk), it’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The two restaurants on the second floor are fantastic—great quality, unique vibe, and definitely worth a visit. I also appreciated how close we were to a large supermarket, making it super convenient to grab fresh seafood for a quick meal. Everything about this stay was seamless: comfort, convenience, and value. Highly recommend this spot if you want a central yet relaxing base in Yokohama.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Higashiguchi
This is the only hotel in my entire trip that truly deserves a perfect 10/10 rating, and its location is simply unbeatable. I actually changed my entire Tokyo itinerary just to stay here—worth every penny. Special thanks to a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese; she helped me rearrange my room booking seamlessly during the Japanese New Year period when our preferred deluxe twin room was fully booked for two nights. We were temporarily moved to a standard twin room, then smoothly switched back—no stress at all. The hotel’s location is fantastic: right next to a FamilyMart, and it’s less than a 2-minute walk to both JR East Exit and Keikyu Line ticket gates. From here, you can easily reach most cities across the Kanto region. The station underground features a huge shopping arcade, and just behind the hotel is another major mall with everything from pharmacies and cosmetics to dining and shopping—everything you need is literally steps away. For first-time visitors, it's easy to get confused: if you exit through the JR Central Arcade gate, look for the sign pointing to 'East Exit,' then follow the path past a large mural on the wall. Take the escalator down, turn left, walk along the left side until you see the sign 'Kita Higashiguchi A.' Ride the elevator up, cross the small bridge, and there you are—FamilyMart and the hotel are right in front of you. Simple, clear, no confusion. This place offers incredible value and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.
