I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Northbridge! Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful—whether it was check-in or just asking for recommendations, they went the extra mile. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, which made for a relaxing atmosphere after a long day. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk from Central Station, but honestly, that didn’t bother me at all—the route is scenic and well-lit, making it a pleasant stroll. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering diverse dining options with excellent quality. The location, service, and overall vibe make this hotel a standout choice in Perth. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The Attika Hotel offers an excellent location—just a short, easy walk to the office, which is perfect for business travelers. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, making it ideal for a restful stay. One small suggestion: the TV in the bedroom is positioned a bit too high, causing neck strain during extended viewing. Adjusting the mount slightly would make it much more user-friendly. Overall, the hotel delivers great value and a pleasant experience—definitely a place I’d consider returning to.

Location-wise, it’s not right in the heart of Perth, but it’s convenient enough with nearby shops and public transport options. A short ride on the train gets you to the city center in no time. Overall, this place offers excellent value, especially if you prioritize room size and practicality over modern amenities.

Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to Northbridge and the Perth CBD (under 20 minutes), right on a main road opposite McDonald’s — great for late-night snacks or morning coffee. The owners are genuinely warm and welcoming; they’re always happy to chat if you happen to pass by their office. Whether you're here for a quick weekend getaway or a longer stay, this place hits all the right notes. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Wheeler Apartments Perth was a fantastic experience overall. One of the biggest positives? No hidden fees—everything is transparent and upfront, which I really appreciate. The staff member (a young guy) was not only handsome but also incredibly helpful and attentive, running around to assist with everything. He even offered to lend me a charging cable—a small touch, but very thoughtful. There were complimentary bottled waters in the room, which was a nice surprise. The bedroom didn’t have air conditioning, but the living area had strong cooling, so it wasn’t an issue. Just a heads-up: there’s no mobile key access—guests need to bring a local bank card for check-in. A refundable deposit of AUD 300 is required, which will be returned within five business days after checkout. Location is great, clean, well-maintained, and the value for money is excellent. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return to.

CityLights Hotel
This stay was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel. The staff were incredibly unfriendly and seemed completely unaware of basic guest service. The room conditions were subpar—no shampoo provided, just one small towel, and they refused to give me an additional one despite asking politely. It felt like I was being punished for wanting basic comfort. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, and the lack of attention to detail made the entire experience frustrating. I left feeling disappointed and definitely won't be returning. If you're looking for a decent place to stay in Perth, this is not it.

With such a great value for the price, it’s definitely one of the top backpacker hostels I’ve stayed at. Highly recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a solid base in Perth.
Billabong Backpackers Resort
The location of Billabong Backpackers Resort is fantastic—just a 20-minute downhill walk from East Perth Station, which offers direct access to the airport. It’s also super convenient with a Woolies supermarket and a BWS liquor store right nearby. Every morning, they provide fresh bread for toast or PB&J, plus cereal and milk—perfect for a quick breakfast without leaving the hostel. The private room was spacious, well-equipped with a kettle, mugs, and complimentary tea and coffee supplies. There’s a $10 refundable deposit for dining sets, which is fair considering the quality. One small downside: Wi-Fi is only available in common areas, so no internet in the room. But the staff more than make up for it—they’re friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations. We followed their advice to book a ferry to Rottnest Island to see the quokkas, and they even arranged pickup and drop-off, making the whole experience seamless. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked, so preparing your own meals is easy and enjoyable. Overall, this place offers excellent value, a welcoming vibe, and a great base for exploring Perth.

Staying at Ozi Inn Backpackers in Perth was an absolute highlight of our trip. Though it's housed in an older building, the place is immaculately clean and well-maintained. What really stood out was the monthly free BBQs—perfect for meeting fellow travelers and soaking up the local vibe. It’s great to see that many of the backpackers working here are also guests, creating a friendly, community-like atmosphere. The management is clearly committed to continuous improvements—every room is being freshly painted, new curtains and cupboards are being installed, and the place feels like it’s evolving with every visit. Our new manager was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Overall, this was more than just a place to sleep—it was a memorable experience full of great people, good energy, and genuine hospitality. We’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
