Right next to the Capitol—can't beat that location! I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t book a second night, but honestly, totally understandable given how popular this place is. The convenience of being steps away from Austin’s historic Capitol building is unbeatable. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable—perfect for a short stay in the heart of downtown. Great value, excellent service, and such a welcoming vibe. Definitely planning to return.

The stay was a major disappointment. The room was poorly cleaned—dirty towels, no soap, and sticky floors made the experience unpleasant. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Despite the appealing photos online, the actual property looked nothing like the images, which made the overall impression even worse. The location is quite isolated—feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, with limited access to public transport or nearby attractions. It’s not worth the price, especially considering the lack of basic cleanliness and comfort. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent urban stay. Definitely not something I’d consider returning to.

The location is excellent—just a short walk to downtown Austin and near plenty of restaurants and attractions. While I noticed breakfast now comes at a fee, the quality of the food is actually really good—fresh, well-prepared, and varied. It's clear they put effort into their offerings. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who value both comfort and great service. A free breakfast would make it even better, but overall, it’s a fantastic choice in Austin.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I received two complimentary evening drink vouchers upon check-in—perfect even for solo travelers. The burger at the lobby bar was surprisingly delicious and definitely worth a try. Staff were attentive and friendly, offering helpful recommendations without being pushy. On one occasion, the air conditioning stopped working around 11 PM—I called the front desk and someone arrived within 10 minutes to fix it, which was impressive. Breakfast was excellent: fresh, varied, and satisfying. The only downside was that one of the three elevators was out of service for three days straight, and another occasionally didn’t work. However, these issues didn’t significantly impact my stay. Overall, the hospitality, comfort, and value make this a standout choice. I’d happily return.

What stood out most was the location: Austin is a relatively small city, and being right in the heart of downtown meant we could walk to nearly all attractions, restaurants, and shops without needing a car or rideshare. Whether it was exploring local cafés, shopping, or catching a show, everything was just a short stroll away. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or local tips. It’s a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.

Staying at Littlefield Lofts, Hosted by Placemakr - 6th St was an absolute delight! The fully equipped kitchen made cooking at home so convenient and enjoyable—perfect for a longer stay. The location couldn’t be better: just steps away from great restaurants, shopping spots, and live music venues. Austin’s vibrant nightlife is right outside the door. The TV was top-notch with crisp picture quality—great for unwinding after a busy day. Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, this place offers comfort and convenience in one. I loved every moment here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.
Locale Bouldin Creek - Austin
My stay at Locale was extremely disappointing. I booked a two-night reservation, but due to unavoidable flight delays, I arrived late. Upon arrival, I was informed my booking had been canceled with no prior warning—despite trying to contact them while en route. They claimed their no-show policy cancels reservations at 7am CST the day after check-in if guests haven’t arrived, but they kept my reservation active until 2pm CST on the 17th, which didn’t help much given the travel disruptions. I asked for a refund, but was only offered a future stay credit—something completely useless since I don’t live in the U.S. and have no plans to return before it expires. What’s worse is that they actually rebooked the apartment for the night I paid for, meaning they weren’t even out any money. Yet they refused to offer a real refund, showing zero flexibility or empathy during an already stressful situation. This lack of customer care, especially under extraordinary circumstances, left me stranded and exhausted in a foreign city with no place to stay. I expected better from a brand that claims to prioritize guest experience. If you’re even slightly concerned about travel delays or needing support, I’d strongly advise against booking here. The entire experience was frustrating, unreliable, and deeply unsatisfying.

I had an excellent night's sleep despite being directly off the highway, and surprisingly, it was quiet and peaceful throughout the night. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and genuinely cared about my comfort. Their friendly attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference. I’m so grateful for the hospitality at Casulo Hotel—it turned what could’ve been just another stop into a memorable stay.
