For travelers planning side trips, there’s a travel agency right outside the property where you can compare prices. A one-day trip to the Tulou villages costs about $100 per person and takes the whole day. A half-hour sailboat ride is around $100 too, which is great value. If you’re worried about sun exposure, opt for a motorized yacht with a roof—it offers more shade, but still only lasts about half an hour. That said, the sailboat experience feels like a better deal. I’d skip the “tidal pool hunting” tour—it’s mostly staged and not worth it. Overall, the host is super helpful and knowledgeable. Any questions about local tips, transportation, or hidden gems—they’ve got solid advice. Truly made our stay more enjoyable and stress-free.
