Staying at Xinkang Hotel Guilin was an absolute delight! The neighborhood is packed with delicious food options—everywhere you turn, there’s something tasty to enjoy. I especially loved the relaxing massage spots nearby—after a long day exploring, soaking in a warm bath was pure bliss. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and getting around town was super easy via public transit. Located just minutes from the city center, this hotel offers unbeatable value for money. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great food right outside your door, this is the place to stay.
Guilin Youjian Homestay (Lingui)
This was my second stay at Guilin Youjian Homestay (Lingui Branch), and I’m even more impressed this time around. The value for money is outstanding—everything about this place feels thoughtfully designed and genuinely affordable. The host couldn’t have been friendlier, greeting us warmly upon arrival and even helping with luggage. The atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with lush greenery surrounding the property, making it a true retreat from the city buzz. The room was spotless, immaculately clean, and well-kept—bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom felt fresh and hygienic. What stood out most was how attentive they are to small details, like daily linen changes and prompt service. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient: just a short walk or quick ride to major attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, Li River, and the two rivers and four lakes area. Perfect for travelers who want a relaxing base while still being close to everything. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Guilin—I highly recommend this hidden gem!

The room was spacious and bright, with plush bedding that made for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features smart dry-wet separation, and the hot water came on strong and stayed consistent—perfect for a relaxing shower. The front desk staff member with ID #506 had such a warm, welcoming smile and provided exceptional service—always ready to help with a cheerful attitude. Even the housekeeping team went above and beyond: everything was spotless, down to the neatly arranged slippers. It’s clear they take pride in every little detail. Clean, comfortable, well-located, and fantastic value—this is exactly the kind of place I’d recommend without hesitation. Will definitely be back.
Yangshenggu Homestay
I definitely recommend recording a video before checking in, as the mirror was already broken and the hairdryer had a distinct burnt smell when turned on. I've stayed at many homestays before and always take good care of the property—never had an issue like this before. This time, I was unfairly accused without any proof, which was frustrating. It’s a lesson learned, and I’ll treat it as a costly reminder to be more cautious. If you're staying here, make sure to inspect everything carefully—especially small details like appliances. The location is convenient for getting around, but the condition of the facilities really needs attention.
