From the moment I reached out before check-in to the warm farewell at checkout, the staff—Luca, Oscar, and Jackie—went above and beyond with their thoughtful service. Honestly, it even surpassed my experience watching *Water Temples* in Macau, which was already an incredibly immersive show. But this hotel felt like the perfect, unforgettable ending to my trip. Located directly across from the Canton Tower, the view alone is breathtaking—and yes, there’s a private birdwatching platform, but that’s just one of many small details that make this place special. The grand entrance features vintage cars, and the scent of fresh flowers fills the air as you step inside. After staying at the Longjiang White Tiger Suite, I was thrilled to be upgraded again—this time to a spacious one-bedroom suite. And what came with it? A beautiful surprise package: a local map, a delicate sachet, a record-shaped fridge magnet, a plush toy for kids, traditional Guangzhou biscuits, a welcome drink, and free minibar credits—so many little joys! The view: Guangzhou Tower (the 'Small Waist') and Chigang Pagoda are just outside the window. At night, the city lights come alive, creating an unforgettable skyline panorama without needing to step outside. Location is excellent—Line 3 metro runs straight to the airport, and it's only a short walk to Kequn Metro Station, where the Lijing Plaza offers a fantastic variety of local eats. We tried Tao Tao Ju for Cantonese cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors and great service. From start to finish, our stay was seamless and memorable. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guangzhou.

Our room was larger than expected, with a sleek modern minimalist design, spotless cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable bedding—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure and temperature were consistently excellent. Bonus points for the complimentary minibar and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight—diverse options blending Chinese and Western favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. Breakfast leaned slightly toward Western style, but the quality of ingredients and presentation were excellent. Staff were courteous and warm throughout the morning, and I appreciated the complimentary member treats—like the pork siu mai pastry, which was deliciously flaky and flavorful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.

Pazhou Hotel (Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Modiesha Metro Station)
I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
