Although I booked through a platform, the front desk staff, Miao Yuting and Qian Haorui, proactively checked if an upgrade was possible and happily confirmed one for me. Stepping into the upgraded room felt like entering a presidential suite—spacious to the point of getting lost in the corners, with panoramic views of the Olympic Center that were absolutely stunning. The room itself was immaculate, featuring smart curtains, a large bathtub, and two bathrooms—everything you could want. I also received complimentary afternoon tea access on the first floor, which I enjoyed after checking out the gym and pool, both of which were top-notch and well-maintained. Breakfast at the 5th floor was exceptional—diverse, delicious, and a real highlight. Honestly, the value for money was outstanding. If I ever return to Nanjing, this will be my go-to choice.

We spent New Year's Eve at the Hilton Nanjing Riverside with my entire family, booking two rooms for a three-night stay. The overall experience was fantastic! There were a few minor hiccups during our stay, but once we brought them up, the hotel staff responded quickly and resolved everything promptly—really impressive service. On New Year’s Day, our room was beautifully set with welcome fruits, and they were restocked throughout our stay along with refreshing drinks—so thoughtful. The rooms were spacious, with smart bathroom layout and top-quality bedding that made for an incredibly peaceful night’s sleep, completely quiet and cozy. We also tried the hotel’s spa, and the therapist’s technique was excellent—very relaxing and professional. During our time in Nanjing, we explored some local highlights and enjoyed authentic street food, all of which added to the joyful atmosphere. Everyone in the family had a wonderful time. The hotel truly lives up to the Hilton standard—excellent service, attention to detail, and outstanding value for money. If I ever come back to Nanjing, this will be my first choice without hesitation.

The room itself was spotless, well-organized, and spacious, with a desk perfect for working or eating. The pillow height was just right, and the thick tissues plus complimentary mineral water were nice extras. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and attentive. What really stood out was how convenient the area is. Right downstairs, there are so many great dining options. Near a local middle school, the food here suits both kids and adults—think McDonald’s, Ji Ming Tangbao, and even a hidden gem called Xin He Zhai for lamb dishes, which is always packed. Another must-try is Hong Jie’s Jianbing, where they serve authentic Nanjing pidi mian with incredibly fresh meat slices—highly recommended! There's also a community service center and an underground market where you can grab steaming hot youtiao and zongzi in the morning. For dinner, I tried Hu Bian Li, and the flavors were outstanding.
