Binbei Yiho Hotel
Arrived in the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel directly next to Metro Line 2, making travel incredibly convenient—especially for catching Li Jingru's concert just two stops away at the Sports Center Station. I was on the 22nd floor, and while some renovation work was ongoing nearby, the front desk had proactively informed me upon check-in, which showed great transparency and care. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with all amenities fully functional and the overall environment well-maintained. Staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the excellent experience. Even with minor noise from construction, it didn’t ruin the stay—just a small trade-off for such a central and well-run location. The value for money is outstanding, and I’d definitely return. Looking forward to seeing how much better this hotel gets with time.
Echarm Hotel
As a visitor from Taiwan, I was thrilled to return to Xiamen for my second visit, staying here for three nights during the summer holiday (I previously stayed in room R720). This time I was in room R627, and while the overall experience was still excellent, there was one small downside—the bathroom had a lingering urine smell that never fully dissipated. I’d recommend checking ventilation or cleaning protocols in that area. However, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—freshly made noodles with a great taste and a wide variety of options. It felt like a real treat each morning. The hotel is also super convenient for exploring local eats: just a short bus ride away from Malong She Food Street, and even closer to Dianqian Qingshui Temple and Chaotian Temple, both located in vibrant urban villages packed with delicious street food. If I ever come back to Xiamen, I’ll definitely choose Echarm Hotel Torch Garden Station again—it’s well-located, comfortable, and offers great value. Highly recommended!

The quiet atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the location couldn’t be better: just steps away from buses, metro, and BRT lines, putting the city center within easy reach. Breakfast was a highlight—abundant, well-prepared, and satisfyingly varied. Staff were friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the stay. The only minor drawback was the shower door in the twin room, which had a tight design that made turning around awkward during use—something worth considering for future improvements. Despite that, the hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommend for travelers visiting Xiamen.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Juncheng Hotel (Xiamen Zhongshan Road Branch). I upgraded to the multimedia room, which offered more space than expected and felt very clean and well-maintained. The bathroom features a window—natural light makes a big difference—and there’s even a small mirror, perfect for those with glasses. The room is located on the opposite side of the elevator, so it’s quiet and peaceful, though the windows aren’t perfectly soundproof—some faint chatter from downstairs could be heard at night. That said, the motorized curtains are a huge plus; just press a button and you’re set. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk to the BRT station, and one stop gets you to the metro system, making travel around Xiamen super convenient. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and smart convenience in a great location.

Breakfast featured local favorites like satay noodles, a nice touch that gave me a taste of authentic Xiamen flavor. I also appreciated the night-shift staff who helped me book my ferry ticket to Gulangyu directly through the app—so helpful when you're on the move. Everything was smooth, thoughtful, and well-executed. A truly memorable stay with excellent value. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holiday with our own car, and the main reason for choosing it was the availability of parking — especially important during peak seasons when spaces fill up quickly. We were lucky to secure a spot on a first-come, first-served basis, which worked out well. My room was from the original section, not the recently renovated wing, but cleanliness was excellent — everything felt fresh, including crisp linens and a spotless bathroom with no water stains. The staff went above and beyond: front desk personnel and housekeeping were friendly and helpful, even offering me a tea set for my stay — such a thoughtful touch. One thing to note: the elevator requires a room key card, so food deliveries had to be left in the lobby. However, walking to the bustling Baishi Market only takes about 10–15 minutes (including crossing busy intersections), making it easy to explore local street food and vibe. Overall, despite minor logistics, the location, cleanliness, and warm service made this a truly enjoyable stay. I’d definitely come back if I visit Xiamen again.
